Have you had an Angelic experience?

I had an experience but it was much more feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit and of angels than actually seeing anything. It was about a year before I began looking at the Catholic Church. I was praying through the Litany of the Saints and to St. Michael in particular because of an evil presence (that a few people had seen) was oppressing my room mate. He didn’t know I was doing this. Awesome experience.

My mom worked as a nurse. She didn’t work in Intensive Care but she knew several ladies who did. They said they had numerous instances that they couldn’t explain. One example was a mysterious visitor. The nurses had been working with a patient who was at the tail end of his days but was fighting, not ready to die, and going through a lot of pain. One day they noticed a visitor in his room sitting in the chair at his bedside reading him the Bible. They thought it was odd as he had never had a visitor and nobody had seen the man walk in. The room was directly across from the nurses’ desk. That night he was not suffering and was very much at peace. The following day, the man was there again, reading Scripture. Nobody noticed him come in and nobody noticed when he left. That night the man passed away in his sleep. Nurses looked at the register and nobody had signed in to see the man on either day and nobody at all had signed in at either of those times.

Fascinating story.

I just recalled a dream of men with light coming out of their irises, in a field, looking at me.

I think that qualifies, join our amazing club 👍.

Someone I know had a dream like that, but it was a priest telling him to get ordained.

I had an experience of some sort, angelic or not i don;t know, but i felt a sense of great happiness and in that moment i knew really KNEW that God existed, the thought just came and i felt it. There was no religious context, it just happened.

This was some time after i began (finally) turning back to the faith after a long time of rational indifference (dark night of the soul). I believe however that that particular moment was a turning point for me to really get back into doing what God wants me to do.

As to a certain atheist on this thread i ask you to look into the beauty and magesty of the universe, and deny the existence of God. If all that you see is just chance, it must have been the greatest of flukes that we, and all things came into existence.

I’ve had a couple of those also, they’re wonderful. 😃

1.) The only person who has to be right is God. NO one man is right about everything.
2.) If you weren’t born an atheist, you aren’t a true atheist. The case with most “atheists” is that either they have lost their way, or they were always atheist and they have never and will never believe in God because they were born without the gift of Faith. If you truly are an atheist, which I am not arguing, you never really believed the things people told you about God in the first place.
Drig, that’s a pretty strong thing to say. Are you saying Atheists can never come into faith? That’s kinda harsh… We’ll have to talk about this tomorrow at the meeting.

I’d Like to revive this for all those who have recently joined.

Thanks for sharing your rather personal stories. 🙂

God Bless!

Yes, I have. There was no mistaking it. I am sure it was my Guardian Angel.
