A friend of the family was an acquaintance of Ron Hubbard’s so I have some very strong feelings about that outfit. Our friend was kept from Hubbard’s funeral from the inmates that took over that asylum and kept him cloistered for many years. This is hearsay, of course, but I believe our friend. I drove down to Atlanta many years ago to check it out for myself at one of their “churches.” I do not and will never have respect for any spirituality that has you pay-as-you-go to attain knowledge of their doctrine.
I may watch; I may not. My tolerance level for this group is zero. I do not personally know what all they have done, but where there is smoke there is fire. I try to see all sides to a story, and I’m sure on some level this doc is biased. I’m sure some
schadenfreude on my part will inform my decision to eventually watch it, I’m very sorry to say.
Caveat:
I’m an open-minded gal. I’ve hung out with Moslems, snake-handlers, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Hindus, Satanists, bikers, Pagans… you name it. I don’t take other folks’ word about any group. I love everyone. Please don’t think I dislike this group based upon the party line.
