Apparently, a man with an advanced case of flesh eating disease was healed after Fr. Horgan prayed over him with a relic of Bl. Columba Marmion. This healing will lead to the first formal investigation of an alleged miracle in Western Canada and, if confirmed by the Vatican, will lead to the canonization of Bl. Columba. I’m very impressed that this story was actually printed in the often anti-Catholic secular media of this country!
