You are asking that we pay that price so we should have a right to know what it is, right?

I do presume you do not believe that all other people on this plannet live for the sole purpose of funding your health.
Those who had the ability and refused will be going to Hell.

The drugs to stabilize my body are as I have said before. Less than $100 elsewhere, $2000+ a month here. I’d need a liver panel every six months and a checkup at the same time. That’s maybe $500 every six months, so lets do the math.

$25,000 a year under current drug prices, or $2000-$3000 a year with more sane drug prices, something I could pay out of pocket actually.

You have the ability to earn the money those like pathia need but are not working to the absolute of your ability to earn money for her and those like her.

Not knowing the exact history of the drugs you are on but knowing the typical reason for Drugs to be more expensive in the US. If these drugs follow the typical pattern:
I am guessing that those drugs were invented in the United States and are covered under US pattents. Which is why they are trying to recoup their development costs here. That development was funded by investors knowing that people were willing to pay for life saving drugs and knowing they would have a return on their investment. Otherwise, they would have invested in other opportunities with a better rate of return. In short the capitalist system made those drugs available. Under a government run system those drugs would not likely be available. Those other countries do not have to honnor American Copy rights and typically steal the formula or force the manufacturers to sell them at just over cost. As a result those foriegn countries get medicines subsidized by the US consumer.

What the left is proposing in socialized medicine would not make future drugs like this cheeper, they would prevent them from existing.

You guess wrong. They were invented by a french company. I am talking about the brand name sold here, versus the brand name sold in europe, same company.

Are they subsidized by the foriegn governments or are you proposing that the companies are price gouging in the states?

If that were the case could you explain why an enterprising American company would not have found they could make a great proffit by selling them for less here in the States?

Outside of some massie conspiracy against you I can not see how laws of the market place would not have driven the price down closer to the production cost.

Amd the solutions are there, but Americans are stubborn and would much rather fail doing thing their stupid idiodic way than succede doing things someone elses way. Americans don’t worship the true God, they worship business. And the business man worhsips mutitasking. America is no more christian than anyone else. Those who are repsonsible for the rejections that lead to Pathia get is this prediciment had better fear for their souls. Too givie everyone a hint, when the sheep are lined up on the right and the goats on the left of God, they will be amugnst the goats for sure.
You are the last person who needs to be making those comments about others.
There will be no stealing going on. It a redirection of priorities with money altready taxed.
That’s simply not true. The first tax to go up will be tanning salons. Who knows what they will decide to tax after that. Let them tax enough luxury items then they will go to raising taxes on things we need to live.
Those who had the ability and refused will be going to Hell.
You are way out of line.

Ok Ill prephrase that then in both caes where I implied hell, I change it they are braking the though shall not murder commandment. Usless you kill in self defence or by mer accedent you are guilty of breaking the commandment if a death results of your actions. Trying to save the profit of the company doesn’t excuse you.

Ok I’m game I’m ready to rumble. Who did I steal from? hah? I’m not the one advocating people dying to save the profits of an insurance company here. Get rid of the isurance industry from the medical field and we can get down to taking care of well being, becuse quite frankly profit gets in the way. You juust feel uncomfortable with somebody who is interested in getting things done.

You want to steal via tax dollars from everyone else to pay for your health insurance. You didn’t start advocating for others on this forums until you were proved wrong about your errant claims; you threw them out as a smoke screen. If you really wanted to get things done for the betterment of everyone, then why don’t you support bills to fix one problem at a time instead of this massive garbage being proposed by the government.

Get rid of the insurance industry? I thought being uninsured was bad?

Because one at a time is too slow. As far as advocating others I Ive actually been advocating Pathia long before there were healthcare threads here. The one at a time stuff you want has no chance of passing and will be too little too late. I’m in a hurry yes( I was in a hurry from the time I exited the womb and will be till I’m in the tomb). Don’t talk to me about smoke screens, all this malarkey about profits margins are a screen of smoke that rival exaust from a car with a blown headgasket. I havent attacked your personally yet, you are treading on thin ice by your personal attacks on me dude.

The fact that insurance companies would go bankrupt if they did what you wanted is a smoke screen?

You would rather pass a pork-laden bill that might not fix anything once the dust has settled, than do it right one problem at a time? You’re in such a hurry to pass a bill that won’t take effect for at least 2 years?
