So the movie Heaven is for Real has gotten some serious advertising on Catholic media (yesterday I heard the ad during most commercial breaks while listening to Guadalupe Radio Network; I saw the ad on the homepage of Catholic.com).
Just wondering if anyone knows why this movie is getting so much promotion from Catholic media?
(to be clear: I have no issue with the movie, or with the family’s sharing of the personal revelation; I treat personal revelations the same whether they come from a Catholic or Protestant–they’re not part of the foundation of my faith unless they’re approved by the Catholic church, i.e. Our Lady of Fatima)
