inJESUS:
the God of Abraham to us is Trinity
the God of Abraham is called father
the God of Abraham saved His children on the Cross

this is not the God of Abraham that muslims believe in…it is impossible that it is the same…they may call it any name, but His description/nature is not the same…

the name Holywood is the also used for a club in Milano…does it mean that Holywood is the same as Holywood club? no. They “borrowed” the name to give the place some “character”.
Good insight!
I agree

Marc18:
Im asking if anybody has been in my situation or could give me advice. I like this woman alot and she likes me alot but we have not even touched on the subjest of religion. many things have been going through my head like children what religion will they be catholics or muslim so confused, my family/her family if they will approve of different races combining.
I will apreciate your help immensely.
Marc, bro, I am 21 and I have loved a Protestant girl before. Now her family was tough (very anti-Catholic Fundamentalists). I would start looking for a good Christian girl… preferrably Catholic. I can tell you it will be very hard for a Catholic to be married to a Muslim and follow their faith. If you are a practicing Catholic your kids HAVE to be raised Catholic. What are your priorities? Your God or a woman? Keep searching! Lust does not equal love. If you are only lusting after her, you know it isn’t the real thing.

God bless.

What Saint Paul says about marriage with unbelievers…

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
1635 According to the law in force in the Latin Church, a mixed marriage needs for liceity the express permission of ecclesiastical authority. In case of disparity of cult an express dispensation from this impediment is required for the validity of the marriage. This permission or dispensation presupposes that both parties know and do not exclude the essential ends and properties of marriage; and furthermore that the Catholic party confirms the obligations, which have been made known to the non-Catholic party, of preserving his or her own faith and ensuring the baptism and education of the children in the Catholic Church.
Will your future (possible) wife agree to raise the children Catholic? Not if she follows her faith… and she might end up blaming you later on for not letting her follow her faith.

Marriage is FOREVER…
2382 The Lord Jesus insisted on the original intention of the Creator who willed that marriage be indissoluble. He abrogates the accommodations that had slipped into the old Law.
I suggest going to here: ccc.scborromeo.org.master.com/texis/master/search/?sufs=0&q=marriage&s=SS and reading thru what the CCC has to say about marriage.

God bless!
