Oh, wait - the author of Hebrews just refers ( do not even quote clearly ) to a fact resembling to a story in a mere human writing, while Paul clearly quoted pagan authors. :rotfl:

For Hebrews 11:35, why explain it as a reference to a story in words of men? Why not go to 1 Kings 17:23 or 2 Kings 4:36? Why do we have to think that the author of Hebrews is not talking here about the widow of Nain who lived before Hebrews was written, and who received her son by resurrection ( see Luke 7: 11-17 )? Maybe we cannot think about all that, because RC are deceived and want to think about words of men, instead of concentrating on words of God.

BTW: I can quote any translation I find available. That doesn’t make me a slave of translations. 🙂

AAAAAND BTW: I didn’t suggest that our dear Lisa suffered demonic possession! God forbid! But I was just saying that she’s doing the will of Satan by calling people not to listen to the voice of God, just as the story I quoted from Acts.

Don’t forget that the Lord called Peter “Satan”, but He didn’t mean that he was suffering demonic possession. The Lord was telling the Disciples that Peter was expressing the thoughts of Satan, not those of God. 😉

Also,witness you would do well to remember that certain legalistic types who were so concerned about the letter of the law,that they accused Jesus of being in league with the devil.He(Jesus) was also called a drunkard and a glutten:nope: Guess there where those who liked to point fingers back then too.😛

These two passages are easy to keep in mind: 5:19 and 5:20 🙂

I know that I am in the Church that Jesus started and still guides,he promised the gates of hell will not prevail against it and neither will you:p

As soon as I opened it, I found pictures that must not be encouraged by Christians. 😃 Is there anything more simple than this?? :rotfl:

As usual, RCs run away to vanities, when they cannot find an answer to give. The topic was about those Apocrypha books… 😃 I witnessed how they did run away from YAQUBOS. I am witnessing how they are taking flight from Witness.

I do not see an address number 1,number two we Roman Catholics don’t run away from Jesus:whacky: We certainly did not run away from YAQUBOS,you are very prideful and vain and you might want to work on that humility is a virtue or is that another part of scripture you chose to ignore?
