Man, you are a good daddy!!!I know all the medical professionals will yell at me for this, but with my 2 month old, I lie her down on my chest (I’m dad) on her tummy and just rock her slowly with my hands on her bum.
I did this with 3 or my 4 and they all slept well like this, even to this day when I crawl into bed with my 2.5 year old he wants to climb on top of me and sleep. It’s cozy and warm for both baby and me and they sleep.
The 2 month old has been sleeping from 11 pm until 7am, sometimes later, I usually wake her up when I have to get up to go to work, for a while. It’s not a perfect solution and it’s not the best sleep for me, but with it being my fourth (and my wife unfortunately telling me there will be no more), I’m trying to savour every moment of my baby…I know I’ll catch up on the sleep later, but it really is such a short time over our lifetimes.
I hope that you are able to find a solution to this problem. I would second seeing a doctor just to make sure as well.
