I can’t really relate at all to the “Eew it’s too gross…” thing - it is your own body, after all. Not to mention the fact that sex is quite messy - you’ll have to deal with, er, clean up of your future dh’s ‘cooties’, you know. Did I mention that childbirth and babies are rather messy too? If you are grossed out by your own bodily functions, how will you handle it once you are routinely exposed to your (future) dh’s? I say suck it up (but I mean that in a nice wayI am new to this site and have a question I hope someone can help me with. I am not Catholic but my Fiancee is and we are going through the classes for NFP. I am having a little bit of a problem with this. I fully understand and agree with the need for other options for birth control. I don’t accept other methods either. This seemed like a really good idea but… Well maybe I am just one of those wilting southern women or something but I can’t do the things it’s asking me to do. It’s way to personal. I have no problem with just charting my periods but Mucus testing and Cervical Testing are just out of my area of comfort. Isn’t there other ways of testing when you are fertile. I thought someone told me of a test that you just spit on or something. Anyone know?
