Last year, I lost an iPod on purpose because I had looked at some inappropriate sites and videos on it. I lost it because I was about to get a new one, and my dad wanted to have the old one. I told them I lost it on accident. I have since gone to confession and confessed purposely losing the iPod, but they don’t know yet. I found out that you have to make reparation for lies by telling the person the truth. Does this mean I have to tell my parents that I looked up the sites and videos on my iPod? The priest in confession didn’t mention having to do that.
