Sylar has to be the scariest villain I have ever seen! I hope someone gets him killed soon.
On another note, has anyone heard about the new spinoff, “Heroes: Origins”?
I thought the Heroes: Origins was just the next season of the show. Am I wrong about that?

No i heard that they were picking up another versison of the show. maybe we get to meet the scientist dad and sister!

I read somewhere that some of the shows next year will not be regular shows, but will be used to introduce new characters. The audience will then vote to determine which will become permanent members of the show. I think they said there would be 30 episodes total and six would be “new character” shows.

What I heard was that Heroes:Origins would run in the summer and then there would be a vote and the “winning” character will be on the regular series.

Also, Greg Grumman (Matt Parkman) was on Martha Stewart the other day and was tight lipped, but he did say that the last 3 minutes of this season are the first 3 minutes of next season.

 Oh Great! More cliff-hangers. I’m getting tired of the cliff-hangers.

Well, I suppose they have to leave us wanting more so we come back next season. As long as they resolve most of the issues of this season, it should be good.

Yeah, I guess you’re right, as long as Hero kills Sylar.

I think it’s a very creative show that has nothing parallel to it so far with a very high production value. What I like about it that it doesn’t have a good guy, bad guy thing it’s a mixture for all the characters you cannot hate them all even Silah in the last episode has revealed a nice touch with his mom been revealed although he killed her!🤷

I know. i think thats why i like this show. Always flipping around who is bad vs good. I don’t mind cliff hangers too much. Though i heard the Hero was not going to be there next season.

AARGH! I missed that one! I got as far as the part when he started fixing his dad’s clock, but then I had to go get pizza and when I got back it was 10 minutes into SG-1! 😦 (Is there a Stargate thread on this forum, BTW?)

If I can wrestle the TV away from my sisters and Animal Planet, I’ll have to try to catch up on the episodes I missed.

By the way on last night’s (Monday’s, I guess) episode w/ Hiro and his dad, was anyone else a bit disturbed by the fact that Hiro thinks he’s going to have to sacrifice his morals to do his job?

You can see it on-line at NBC.com, and then see it with commentaries too.

I thought the whole exchange was letting him know he would have to sacrifice his father.

I was thinking about the story Hiro remembered. It seemed like he misinterpreted it (possibly because his father wanted him to). As far as I know, the story means that a hero has to be willing to sacrifice himself. But when the characters said that to be a hero you have to cut out your own heart, it seemed to me like they were saying a hero can’t have emotions or morals. And let’s face it, Hiro has crossed a few lines (like stealing the “sword” from the display csae).

I did catch the episode I missed on Sci-fi last night. What was with the snow-globe scene? Is Sylar just so crazy he gets carried away and can’t help himself?

Next time I get close to some hi-speed, I’ll check out that NBC link and start over from episode 1. But not over dialup… It’d be faster to wait for the DVDs to come out:p . Shame. I love commentaries.

No, I think the story means the hero must sacrifice what he loves the most for the greater good.

Yes, Sylar is a crazy dude that must die. OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

BTW, the story has a flaw. Peter tells Ando “do you know Hero’s happy-go-lucky attitude? All that ended when you died. Blah, Blah, Blah.” How did Peter know Hero so well when he has maybe one day to meet him? Remember, Hero said, “You look different without your scar.” And that scar didn’t happen until the big nuc went off, or after.

I have to confess, I wanted Sylar to die. That brain eating maggot.
“Father, forgive me for I have sinned . . .”

Good finale! Fairly well done resolution to the storyline. I don’t want to give anything away, have to wait for the west coast to catch up.

I am very happy with the ending. I won’t give anything away in case someone hasn’t seen it yet and wants to watch it online or repeated on the Sci-Fi network. It seems that we won’t be seeing some of the characters next season, but I find it hard to believe that they’d be written out.
