Loving God,

We lift up in prayer the intentions of Hetty and all who pray for her:

A PRAYER FOR PEACE IN TIME OF SICKNESS

O Lord, Jesus Christ, Divine Healer,
grant me peace of mind
and perfect trust in You
in my time of distress.
Give me control over my fears.
Grant that I may be cooperative
and patient with Your Will,
trusting that You will restore me to full health.

Amen.

(For Help And Healing)
St. Gerard, you lived your life among people
who asked for your prayers and blessings
in the many concerns of their lives.
In your kindness you presented their needs to Jesus
and obtained an answer to their prayers.
Help all those who call upon your intercession
to experience the healing presence of Christ within them.
Our confidence is strengthened by your words of encouragement,
“Trust with lively faith that you will receive everything from God.”
Be a friend to us, St. Gerard,
and help us to walk in the light of Christ.
Following your example,
may our lives proclaim the love and mercy of Jesus in all our actions.

Jesus, Master Physician of all times, Your Divinity did not require a Ph.D. Eagerly, You resurrected the dead, Restoring the health of the sick. Be it physical or spiritual torment, None were a great obstacle to You: For Your loving power is omnipotent. I ask for Your abounding healing love; Maintain my body and soul vigorous So I may fulfill my daily functions. The world will be conquered by You, All afflictions will be dissipated!

Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity, Patron Saint against bodily ills and sickness please pray for our friend and sister Hetty. Amen.

Lord, continue to be with our dear friend and brother, Jim and his wife. Bring Your loving care and guidance in all they do. Bring comfort and help to them through all who are near and far through Your Holy Spirit. Bring words of strength to hold them up. In the name of Your blessed Son, Jesus our Lord, Amen.
