Healing Novena

To Christ the Great Physician
We know that there is one physician:
Both flesh and spirit
uncreated, yet born
God in man
True life in death
From both Mary and From God
Subject to suffering and then impassible
Jesus Christ our Lord!

We ask O Great Physician, for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing, especially my intention of _HETTY especially at this time with the crohns disease and worry for her diasabled aunt whom she has been primary carer for,please hear our prayers for her aunt also who will need placement.Please pray Hetty does not feel guilt ridden she is wonderful to care so very much.Lord i know you know Hetty’s sincere heart.
You of both flesh and spirit

May we spend all of our days in your healing presence
You the eternal Son born for us

Grant us the healing benefits of your Incarnation, Death, and Resurrection
You who are true God and true man

Grant us your true life in the midst of death
You, the true life in death

Grant us to follow your example and that of your Blessed Mother
You, from both Mary and from God

May our suffering be for our growth; free us, we pray, from that which we cannot bear
We ask You, O God the Word who became man to suffer

We ask you to grant us this healing if it brings us closer to you,
Jesus Christ our Lord!

We lift up in prayer the intentions of Hetty and all who pray for her:

A PRAYER FOR PEACE IN TIME OF SICKNESS

O Lord, Jesus Christ, Divine Healer,
grant me peace of mind
and perfect trust in You
in my time of distress.
Give me control over my fears.
Grant that I may be cooperative
and patient with Your Will,
trusting that You will restore me to full health.

Amen.
 
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Jesus, Master Physician of all times, Your Divinity did not require a Ph.D. Eagerly, You resurrected the dead, Restoring the health of the sick. Be it physical or spiritual torment, None were a great obstacle to You: For Your loving power is omnipotent. I ask for Your abounding healing love; Maintain my body and soul vigorous So I may fulfill my daily functions. The world will be conquered by You, All afflictions will be dissipated!

Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity, Patron Saint against bodily ills and sickness please pray for our friend and sister Hetty. Amen.

Also Praying for the intercession of Venerable Chiara Badona, Venerable Pope John Paul II, Servant of God Elizabeth Prout, Blessed Alexandrina, Blessed Marie-Celine of the Presentation, etc. for our friend and sister Hetty. Amen.
