Yes - I agree. My first thought with this book was that it would garner sympathy with left-leaning (but not always left-voting) women who may believe Bill cheats on her but doubt the rest of the claims in the book. They are a little over the top in their salaciousness. This book is fluff and hype. Designed to turn Hillary into a victim again
Hillary, Ted, and John “which party today” McCain all put their pants on one leg at a time:Hillary is powerful, so is Ted Kennedy, and so is John McCain. I am not afraid of her power. I am afraid when people take murmuring as truth.
No downside for them I can see. Lots of room for an upside.I’m not so conspiracist to think that it’s an involved ploy on the part of the Clintons, but I doubt they are really all that worried.
Yes. I’ve been in Northampton and I’ve been to Vassar College. Unfortunately, I do know of what you speak.I’m quite sure I saw this man interviewed on Book TV yesterday. He was quite rational and reasonable. He took very hostile questions and responded with calmness and authority. IMO he was quite credible. The book’s accusations do NOT include Hillary as a closet lesbian but that she has many lesbian friends and is influenced by the environment she had at Wellsley to be very sympathetic to lesbian causes. ( There are some of those “Seven Sisters” colleges that have shaky reputations regarding the orientation of their female students. Walk downtown in Northampton Massachusetts some afternoon and you will know JUST what I am talking about. )
I am defintely going to buy this book and I hope it’s like the Swifties book, on the best seller list via word of mouth.
