You just couldn’t live without eating popcorn in front of me, could you? 🙂 Now I’m hungry. I can even smell the butter on it from here. So I’ll sign off for now and go get something to eat.

(Maybe you did me a favor.) 🙂

Regarding Hillary, yesterday was email Friday so the Benghazi Committee were in receipt of another load (emails) - requested over 1 year ago. (not really!) The State Department has lots of experience in holding back incriminating evidence.

Evidence of hacking Hillary’s emails by a foreign entity and the identity of the hacker has been uncovered. I hope to see more on the nightly news.
I guess must be the first time you’ve ever heard of a computer system hacked.

I have heard of many, many computer hackers and have seen lots of movies with hacking being the main theme - remember “Jumpin Jack Flash” starring Whoopi Goldberg. That was a good one at the time!

High school and college kids are pretty good at it now. I have heard of Russia and China, and I hope the USA having employed “geeks” to do what they do best around the clock. IMO hacking is a growing career choice. It may be a short career but with financial benefit.

Back to Hillary; I think she was tempted in the earlier days of all the budding technology of computers and Iphones and figured she was privileged enough to have her own system.
She went for the advice of her close confidants to make the arrangements. The “I know a guy” who is now under immunity from prosecution has been relating his work experience.

:manvspc: While she was enjoying her internet connection, she discussed and commented on many subjects that crossed her screen. She didn’t pause to recall how she signed documents to preserve and protect the classified information. She did not use due diligence in regard to creating classified info and sending it to her BFFs.
The latest batch of e-mails containing proof of same was delivered to the Benghazi Committee after a year’s delay this past Friday. The grand total of all the emails that were hung out for the world to see remains to be tabulated. Just when they think they have reached the last, MORE ARE FOUND that link to MORE DANGEROUS SPILLS.

Hillary states: “I did not send or receive classified information”. When asked about this HUGE disaster she replied “there is nothing there, they have been trying to get to me for 25 years and haven’t…” laugh, cackle, laugh.

An interesting question remains, how many servers did Hillary have? Its like, How many peppers did Peter Piper pick?

Let’s see, one was found in Bill’s Harlem pad, one was found in a Colorado bathroom, one was said to be at Chappaquidak and who knows? Maybe one was on an 18 wheeler running around DC.

You should probably take the wild enthusiasm down a notch:

"The State Department, which had insisted the information was not classified at all, partially won its battle over the document as the intelligence community revised its initial assessment and determined the information was “secret,” the next lower classification.

“Based on subsequent review, the intelligence community revisited its earlier assessment,” State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters. He added: “The original assessment was not correct and the document does not contain top secret information.”

The fact that computer systems are hacked is exactly the reason that politicians ought not remove vital government business away from the security of government systems.

Other than the fact that she is a Democrat, or at least not a Republican, I am sure that everybody knows exactly what the problem is with a Secretary of State conducting classified state business outside of the enhanced security of government servers.

We all have heard of computer systems being hacked, Sy Noe, even Clinton supporters, even those who cover for her at all costs.

The DoJ’s computers were hacked. Hacking really isn’t all that hard. I can’t do it! But I have relatives who can, though they work in cyber security; they aren’t hackers and wouldn’t commit illegal acts. But companies pay them handsomely to hack into their systems and find the weak areas and shore them up.

I just got a letter from the IRS saying my personal information may have been compromised.

It wasn’t one of my family! LOL They don’t work for the IRS.

I got one last year. It wan’t even a “may.” It said someone was using my SS number; Got it straightened out, though. Luckily.

Seriously, hope you get it straightened out without trouble.

And those relatives would tell you that there is a world of difference between the security provided by a private company that handles an under-the-desk system sitting in a client’s house, and the government systems designed to handle classified information for officials like the Secretary of State.

The fact that she even thought such a setup was an acceptable way to handle things should be enough to make anyone with half a brain want to keep her as far away from any position of responsibility as possible.

It shows that she is not qualified to be President as Bernie Sanders has already pointed out.

Then no one is because all the candidates were using home computers. Trump’s not qualified for other reasons.

The government has some of the least secure servers. The FBI was hacked a few years ago by kids.

Whew! Then I can rule out The Bernans. That’s a relief. 😃 Just a few wks ago I had a call from my bank that my bank card was compromised and had to replace it. The thing is it wasn’t the first card I’ve had compromised. Just the first one with that particular bank. Sometimes stuff just happens in today’s world. 🤷 Glad you got your situation straightened out too, Lily. I think Hillary will hers as well.

If we were criminals, we’d be richer. 😉

No, they are not ‘least secure’ but they are targeted more aggressively.

The penalties for accessing a private server (such as Hillary’s) are significantly less than if you access a Govt server. Hillary’s actions castrated the potential legal ramifications from hacking her system, a system that contained information vital to national security.

Well, I don’t agree with you, but that’s fine:

Targeting a server “more aggressively” isn’t going to do a thing if you’re not doing the right thing.

Security on a system is directly related to the sensitivity of the information on that system. The “Top Secret” system the kid broke into was the HR database. Call me naive, but I don’t think knowing the exact salary of a director is a national security issue. 🤷

I don’t think it is, either.
