When Hillary was asked about it once, she said the 14 million went to “other” charities.

So, yeah, we’re really, really worried! :rolleyes: And Hillary has the broadest base of any candidate.

We’re not even concerned that more Repubs than Dems are voting in the primaries. That’s because the Repub Party is so fractured, while the Dems pretty much know Hillary will be the nominee. She will steamroll over the Repub nominee in November.

In 2014, Clinton claimed $3,022,700 in charitable contributions on her tax return. Of that amount:

$3,000,000 was to the Clinton Foundation,
$20,000 went to First United Methodist Church,
$200 to the Hot Spring High School Class of '64, and
$2,500 to St. Stephen’s Armenian Apostolic Church.

In 2013, Clinton claimed $3,078,000 in charitable contributions:

$3,000,000 to the Clinton Foundation
$57,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative
$21,000 to the Desert Classic Charities.

Bill and Hillary give “charity” to themselves and no one else.

Last year was 2015, and they gave 14 million to “outside” charities. How much did YOU give? I’m not ashamed of what I gave. I gave $15,000 even to charity last year, and I DID deduct it from my taxes, along with all my student loan debt, so I guess that makes me a greedy person.

Do you have a link to her 2015 tax return? I’d like to see the actual return to substantiate such a claim, especially considering her historical “charity” donations.

I have no idea why you are also trying to deflect the topic towards your charitable donations or mine. It’s not relevant to Clinton’s claim.

How is that a rebuttal to an argument after you’ve already been debating in this and multiple threads dealing with what candidates have said and done?

Would it not be fast to simply type “I support Hillary Clinton regardless of what has ever done” and be done with it?

Jumping through hoops to defend someone then falling in scripture quotes amounts to the same thing, but takes up a lot more space.

Perhaps you missed the question in my post. I asked if you had a link to her 2015 tax return so we could review it to substantiate the claims made about her charitable contributions.

I have no objection to tax dedecutions unless they allow the super-rich to pay no tax at all, but the Clintons paid millions in taxes last year. Mostly, I object to corporations paying no taxes, and most corporation in the US paid no taxes last year.

I used no loopholes; I used legitimate deductions.
