Having watched the video “Keep talking” is pretty obviously not some medical rescue, it’s a sign that the potential security threat is not something she needs to be removed from the stage for, she can continue her speech. He’s obviously Secret Service, and yes Secret Service agents often communicate wit the people they’re protecting. I agree that this is really grasping at straws for the people trying to spread this theory.

Also if she does have a medical condition good for her for overcoming that adversity to be the next president!

One needs to be physically well to be president. It’s the most demanding job in the world. It’s one thing to become ill after being elected but if one is ill before being elected they have the duty not to run. Even presidents who have been elected have a physical each year and their doctor says if they are up to the job.

Even if this is the case, I can imagine what the next question will be from some diehard Trump partisans: “But is Hillary’s doctor up to HIS job?” The political football never stops being thrown even, perhaps especially, AFTER the election.

Apparently, a lot of pastors don’t pay attention to this rule. According to a new survey from Pew Research Center, roughly 9 percent of people who have attended religious services in the last few months have heard clergy speak out in favor of a political candidate, and roughly 11 percent have heard clergy speak in opposition. What’s remarkable, though, is how much this is apparently happening at one particular kind of church: those run by black Protestants.

Fully 28 percent of those who have attended black Protestant churches in the last few months heard their pastor support Hillary Clinton. Seven percent experienced the opposite—their leaders opposed the U.S. Democratic presidential nominee. On the whole, though, black pastors are much more opposed to Donald Trump: 20 percent of recent attendees said they’ve heard comments against Trump at church. This kind of political advocacy apparently extends to down-ballot races, too: 9 percent of black-church attendees heard clergy speak in favor of a candidate who wasn’t Trump or Clinton, while 6 percent heard their pastors speak in opposition.

I certainly don’t know whether she has some major health problem or not. But there is precedent for a disabled president serving out a term. Woodrow Wilson was totally incapacitated for a good part of his term. Most people in the government knew it, but it went on anyway.

And Dwight D. Eisenhower had a heart attack during his first term, debated whether he should run for a second term, but did and served two terms in office. The public knew about his ill health yet elected him anyway for a second term, resulting in Adlai Stevenson’s double loss, unfortunately.

There are certainly other issues to discuss regarding Hillary, such as her policies and character. While health is important for any sitting president, since we don’t really know and Hillary’s doctor has given her the green light, let’s move on. Besides, there is a VP just in case something should happen to the President, whether related to health, injury, or assassination.

There is no credible evidence that Hillary Clinton has any health issues at all. The right wing conspiracy theorists have insinuated that her fall a few years ago caused some sort of head trauma, beginning with a comment by Karl Rove, which he later disclaimed. There is no story here.

Throw that on the same pile as the other smears and false accusations that have been propagated by the right wing for decades.

Agree. I think she has remarkable stamina for getting through this past year with the kind of schedule she’s had.

Stories go viral and then people actually start believing them and then they take on an aura of truth. Is it the internet age we are living in? Perhaps it’s needing to cling to something - anything - when there is that much dislike of a person. I don’t know. I don’t like it. There is so much we need to focus on right now instead of making up stories like this.

The technical acuity of photography … the resolution … is remarkable nowadays.
