I looked at that information. It, too, seemed very general.
On the contrary, Trump’s tax plan is VERY SPECIFIC:

***When the income tax was first introduced, just one percent of Americans had to pay it. It was never intended as a tax most Americans would pay. The Trump plan eliminates the income tax for over 73 million households. 42 million households that currently file complex forms to determine they don’t owe any income taxes will now file a one page form saving them time, stress, uncertainty and an average of $110 in preparation costs. Over 31 million households get the same simplification and keep on average nearly $1,000 of their hard-earned money.

For those Americans who will still pay the income tax, the tax rates will go from the current seven brackets to four simpler, fairer brackets that eliminate the marriage penalty and the AMT while providing the lowest tax rate since before World War II:

Income Tax Rate Long Term Cap Gains/ Dividends Rate Single Filers Married Filers Heads of Household
0% 0% $0 to $25,000 $0 to $50,000 $0 to $37,500
10% 0% $25,001 to $50,000 $50,001 to $100,000 $37,501 to $75,000
20% 15% $50,001 to $150,000 $100,001 to $300,000 $75,001 to $225,000
25% 20% $150,001 and up $300,001 and up $225,001 and up
With this huge reduction in rates, many of the current exemptions and deductions will become unnecessary or redundant. Those within the 10% bracket will keep all or most of their current deductions. Those within the 20% bracket will keep more than half of their current deductions. Those within the 25% bracket will keep fewer deductions. Charitable giving and mortgage interest deductions will remain unchanged for all taxpayers.

Simplifying the tax code and cutting every American’s taxes will boost consumer spending, encourage savings and investment, and maximize economic growth.

Business Tax Reform To Encourage Jobs And Spur Economic Growth

Too many companies – from great American brands to innovative startups – are leaving America, either directly or through corporate inversions. The Democrats want to outlaw inversions, but that will never work. Companies leaving is not the disease, it is the symptom. Politicians in Washington have let America fall from the best corporate tax rate in the industrialized world in the 1980’s (thanks to Ronald Reagan) to the worst rate in the industrialized world. That is unacceptable. Under the Trump plan, America will compete with the world and win by cutting the corporate tax rate to 15%, taking our rate from one of the worst to one of the best.

Best of all, it is very easy to put into effect.

President Trump would take office on January 20.

HOWEVER, Congress starts work on January 1st.

So, Congress could approve a new tax rate schedule in early January, and President Trump could sign it into law on January 21st.

You don’t need to rewrite all 75,000 pages of the tax code.

Just modify the tax rate schedule.

If you prepare your own 1040 tax return, you would know what the tax rate schedule looks like.

Simple thing.

I can’t understand why anyone would vote for a woman who wants to make tax payers pay for ALL abortion (she wants Hyde amendment appealed) and said religious beliefs on abortion must change. Plus, she has also said the unborn Child has no constitutional rights. She also said abortion is a right in the constitution, but she doesn’t know where the right to own a gun for self defense is located.

If one of the soldiers lost at Benghazi was my relative, I would never vote for her regardless. Can she be trusted to keep ISIS from sneaking in with the refugees? The woman involved in the San Bernardino attack lied on her papers.

It is far easier to understand why so many will be sitting out this election entirely and not voting for either, since Trump is not “pro-life.” I also question Trump’s patriotism, since patriots don’t attack the MOTHER of fallen soldiers, nor do they attack POW’s like Senator McCain. I can’t understand how anyone could vote for someone with such questionable standards of patriotism.

LOL What kind of trouble could Bill Clinton possibly get into? Actually, I hardly believe he would not have some (name removed by moderator)ut into a Hillary Clinton administration.
Past behavior is a good predictor of future events. Most likely the concern would be sexual harassment and more credible accusations of rape.
That’s pretty amazing considering that Missouri is a red state.
When did this happen. It’s a solidly purple state.
Moody’s: Clinton’s economic plan would create 10.4 million jobs in four years

Sounds like a plan!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like the same claims made about jobs created from the stimulus. We’ll get the same results.

I’m aware of Bill Clinton’s personal foibles. That’s why I prefaced my question with LOL. I was being sarcastic.

Isn’t it the same for diehard Trump supporters? Just look at his recent statements about the Khan family and the idea of sacrifice.
The Khan family situation was a set-up.

THOUSANDS of American family members have lost their lives in our unfortunate wars in the middle east since Bush left office.

Why single out one family’s personal tragedy?

Mr. Kahn’s son was killed by a suicide bomber in a war zone. Does he not recognize the fear of most Americans of the possibility of Islam extremists coming to this country and becoming a suicide bomber. Would their son want that? I think their son was very brave and was doing his job trying to take care of the enemy over there so the suicide bombers do not come here. May their son rest in peace.

I think that the Clinton campgaign specifically chose a Muslim family of immigrants who lost a son in war as a calculated move to contrast themselves from the Trump campgaign and his antiislamic and anti immigrant policies. Make no mistake about this, Clinton (very smartly) made a calculated decision to chose a family of Muslim immgrants who lost their son in war to speak at her convention.

All Trump had to do in response to this family was say “I’m grateful for your son’s service to our country, Im sorry for your loss.” Now I feel that Trump lack of empathy, and uncompassionate response to this family, is like handing Clinton a present wrapped in a bow. Really, his continued criticism lf this family is a gift to Clinton. It makes him look vain and egotistical, it envelopes his campaign with more controversy, and shows more division among the GOP’s support for Trump. Honestly, I think the best move Trump can do right now is Let it Go. There is one person who this controversy is not hurting and that is Clinton.
