Who exactly is Mr. Khan working for?

[How many years ago?]
I suggest you look up Mr. Khan’s interview on the PBS Newshour yesterday. He talks about Sharia Law and how it is both ambiguous and inappropriate for the US.

I don’t think the Dems’ actions were any more cruel than the Repubs’ actions of putting on a grieving mother who said she held Hillary Clinton personally responsible for her son’s death, accompanied by the repeated chanting of the audience “Lock her up.” Both are instances of the campaigns’ exploitation of personal tragedy for political gain. It’s politics, dirty politics, cruel politics, if you like. But politics, none the less.
Indeed, the first rule of presidential campaigns is: there are not rules. It doesn’t matter how you play the game, as long as you win. Nobody can dispute that both parties play by those rules. In this race, there is no virtuous candidate, it is really a matter of picking the one who is the least odious and then taking a shower afterwards.

As I mentioned previously, the Democratic campaign will be about painting Trump candidate as not safe to be in the office. If they can do that, they will win. We are seeing that strategy play out now.

Shouldn’t be too hard, either, I’d say.

Mr. Khan had three presidential elections to get involved.

NOW, he chooses to speak out.

And he speaks out for Hillary Clinton.

Nice try.

Study it carefully.

The son gave up his life for his country.

The father gave up his honor for Hillary.
An ad hominem attack is a logical fallacy whereby the content of the message is not considered, but instead the quality of the messenger is questioned. That is exactly what is going on when Khan’s message is not considered because he worked for the Clinton Foundation. This also known as “shoot the messenger”.

Not if Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot.

He needs to ignore these attacks. He has a good VP candidate who can address them as they come up. He should continue to concentrate on his message which is resounding with the middle class.

He definitely should, but not sure if he can. He doesn’t delegate the attacking to surrogates as most politicians do.

What is the message that is resounding?

Instead of spending billions of dollars on a wall, simply enforce the use of e-verify. If business owners don’t check their employees status and are caught hiring illegals, put them in prison.

Why should we be fine with people coming here illegally?
I didn’t say that we should be fine with it. But I’m not sure that illegal immigration is the greatest threat we face as a nation and I don’t like a campaign that is mostly based on scaring people.

E verify is not particularly reliable. All it does is verify the validity of a social security number. Employers can’t question it further, by law. Nowadays all illegals have real SSNs, which is why theft of Hispanic ID is so rampant.

It used to work at least somewhat back when ICE and employers were complicit. Employers couldn’t question ID, but ICE could. Now and then employers of lots of immigrants would send suspect ID to ICE. ICE would check them out and if it found several in a place, it would conduct a complicit “raid”.

But ICE doesn’t do that anymore.

It’s a perfect example of the media bias though. Hillary has called the Benghazi families liars, repeatedly. She called her a liar again after the convention. And how much media attention has it gotten?

Compare that to DT and the Khan’s.
Whether there is more or less media coverage does not lessen the fact that the Republicans are just as capable of dirty-tricks politics where they prey upon the emotions of grieving families as the Democrats are. One might even make the case (not I, however) that more media coverage of the Khan family shows up the dirty politics of the Democrats more than that of the Republicans and therefore is to the Republicans’ advantage.

A long hot shower with plenty of scrubbing.
