Looks like in post convention polling now that both parties have had their time in the sun, Clinton has now extended her lead across the board. And most of this polling does not take into account any damage Mr. Trump may have incurred from events like the Khan attacks which have rubbed many in his own party the wrong way to say nothing of veterans groups in the last 48 hours. Few people were ever as powerful and influential as Cheney supposedly was. Including Cheney.

Mostly a myth. Bush’s enemies said Cheney ran things, just as Obama’s enemies say Jarrett does.

Is one claim more true than the other? Well, what do people who actually supported Bush and Obama, and worked for them closely, say?

Since your suggested comparison is highly subjective, I urge you to do your own research on Valerie’s influence in the WH. When you do your comparison, you should at least consider that Cheney was duly elected to his office.

I agree with this. Neither of them have/had the influence that they supposedly had.

My guess is Hillary will, if elected, appoint her to the Supreme Court. But what do I know? Jarrett might not have paid Bill anything, while Hillary owes Loretta Lynch for the “tarmac summit”.

No, I’m fairly sure her plan maintains the status quo on middle class tax rates.

As with Obamacare, somehow it’s always the middle class that gets hit. That’s where the money is because of the numbers of people. One way or another, the middle class will pay for whatever segment of the population she wants to buy with supposed benefits.

Exactly. She can pander all she likes, but this is the reality.

It’s a miracle that there still is a middle class, especially in New York City.
