Make it hard to quote you why don’t ya? 😉
Sorry I was so difficult to understand. I mean a Democrat who is pro-life and whose party does not have a pro-abortion plank and does not support every kind of abortion on the planet including partial birth. Hope that clears it up for you.
In other words, no Democrats ever will get your vote. Only Republicans simply because they CLAIM to be “pro-life” (and it’s ONLY relative to abortion, nothing else. We can nuke the entire planet (which is an actual possibility under the current administration), but as long as they are against ABORTION ONLY, it’s all good). It’s a party thing. Gotcha.
And as far as the GOP not caring about Christians, it was not the GOP who passed Roe v Wade,
Hardly conclusive considering it was a decision of the non-partisan Supreme Court.
or some of the other things like partial birth. It was not the GOP that nominated and elected judges who FOUND something in the Constitution that was not there to justify abortion
Who was on the Supreme Court at the time? It was a majority “liberal” court. But at the time, Republicans and Democrats were not quote as cleanly divided on the issues of “liberal” and “conservative” as they are today. In fact, it was liberal Republicans who voted for the Civil Rights act, not conservative ones. Remember, the Democrats used to be the conseravtive party that supported bigotry and segregation (ever heard of the Dixiecrats? They are now Republicans).

Please don’t put words in my mouth or draw conclusions about who I would vote for to suit your own ideas. And I do remember who the Dixiecrats were. I was there. Were you?

I’m very discouraged that this thread has been allowed to go on past 150 comments, when at least half of them are “uncharitable” to say the least!
I’ll 2nd that max! I was just saying to someone the same exact thing.

I’m not certain if you were being facetious or not because you put “values” in quotes. Is it some sort of code?

I’m a Roman Catholic, cross-wearing liberal who prays every day that we have some sanity returned to the Congress of the United States. Hillary Clinton? I’d vote for her with or without the cross because I’m totally fed up with the GOP’s preachy “values” fakery.
You’d vote for a known supporter of abortion, yet in the same sentence call yourself Catholic. Did you leave out “Cafeteria”?
