Our diocese is very healthy down here in Florida (St. Augustine diocese, which covers Jacksonville, Gainesville, St. Augustine, and everything in between).
I think the southeastern US is a fast growing region for Catholicism. We have healthy sized RCIA classes every year. I should know. I was in the one three years ago and my husband and MIL were in last year’s class.
