Similar things happened here .

My uncle , my dad’s youngest brother , was stationed on the isle of Man during WW2 where Italian internees were kept for some of the war after Mussolini had brought Italy into the war .

I have a painting on my wall of an Isle of Man scene which one of the internees painted for my uncle .
