Been airing shows all day calling Jesus a preacher or prophet. Not once as God or Son of God.

If it’s not a religious channel, they are not likely to delve into the theological claims of Jesus.

'Fraid so. I went and checked the program guide on TV, and that’s exactly what this nonsense is.
le sigh

You raise a good point. The question of whether Francis will actually be the last pope is rather boring, as it seems likely that he will not. The interesting question, however, is why humans have seemingly always been fascinated by such prophecies. It is all the more interesting because the decline in religious observance seemingly does not bring about a concomitant decline in people’s appetite for prophecies and conspiracy theories about religion.

And that matters how?
Why would a non-religious channel refer to Jesus as God? They have viewers of all religions, and none. I doubt you’d be happy if they referred to Muhammad by his religious titles within Islam.

Ignore it. At Easter they have little to do except air conspiracy theories about the Church and misinformation about Jesus. That’s what the non-religious want.

It is called the “History” channel. Not the “religion” channel.

When they have shows regarding Jesus, do they use the biblical accounts as reference material yes, in fact they do. Usually say something on the order, of in the Bible …

Is some of their programming sort of crazy. Yep. Do you have to watch it. Nope.

There is not much “history” going on at the History Channel anymore anyway. I call it the “Ancient Alien Channel” because that’s all they air anymore are shows with all sorts of “experts” claiming that aliens visited the earth in the ancient world. (Except at Easter time when they air the usual programs calling everything Catholic in to question) This ancient alien stuff is a religion all of its own. It’s pretty sad.

Yeah cause God coming down and taking the form of man isnt part of history. If you think referring to Christ and not stating that he is God incarnate is ok, theres something wrong with your thinking, not mine.

It makes no difference if someone is Christian or not. Someone not believing Christ is God doesnt make Christ not God.

Q: Why waste irreplaceable time on such drivel?

The world is packed full of ctynics, haters and non-believers of all types. Was back then, is now and will be until the parousia.

Turn the media off! Read spiritual books!

Word.

So you are upset that there are other people who do not refer to Jesus as the Son of God.

So that would make you upset with:

Jews
Muslims
Hindus
Buddists
Athiests

oh, and everyone who isn’t Christian. . . .
