Does anyone know how does the church respond to an hiv infected member of its society. Is he considered an irrevocable sinner (if caught from a sexual act) or does the church embrace him still ???
Simply having hiv is not a sin. The way in which he contracted the disease might be a sin but the disease itself is not sinful.Does anyone know how does the church respond to an hiv infected member of its society. If a man robs a bank and in the get away slips and gets a broken leg, would the church consider the boken leg a sin? No, HIV is an unfortunate reaction to the sin but not a sin itself. Now one could argue that the HIV is actually a blessing as a way for the sinner to “atone” for the sin. The HIV may even be a blessing if it helps the sinner to avoid future sin.Does anyone know how does the church respond to an hiv infected member of its society.
