When I saw ā€œHollywoodā€ and Catholics together I thought to myself, ā€œhow can those two go together?ā€ :confused:

We donā€™t know these peopleā€™s hearts of course but I just canā€™t help but see what I see, and that is, living a ā€œHollywood lifeā€ just doesnā€™t seem so Catholic. šŸ˜¦

Hollywood-based Catholics in Media Associates honored actor Gary Sinise with its Humanitarian Award during its 13th annual Mass and awards luncheon Nov. 6. Sinise, star of the television show ā€œCSI: NY,ā€ was honored for visiting American troops abroad and supporting Iraqi schoolchildren. Sinise thanked his wife of 29 years, actress Moira Harris, for leading their family by her decision to embrace her Catholic faith, by enrolling their three children in Catholic school and for inspiring him to commit significant time to service projects. ā€œShe has made me a better man,ā€ he said.

Mel is a Catholic but not really. He thinks heā€™s Catholic but according to the Vatican heā€™s not because SSPX is not under St. Peter along with all his successors. šŸ˜¦ Our Pope is working to unite them with us.

This is true. And I hope that Nicole stays faithful because ā€œHollywoodā€ can do some harm and poison their hearts but I hope thatā€™s not the case with Nicole. My prayers are with her. :gopray:

Thatā€™s okay. Iā€™ve done that several times on here. Although I donā€™t think Iā€™m as old as that list. šŸ˜ƒ LOL

some places I have seen that John Wayne became Catholic shortly before his death, but I donā€™t know if itā€™s true.

I donā€™t know if he ever ā€œcame backā€ to the faith. I donā€™t know if he ever actually converted to another faith but I know he studied with some guru. :confused: But I think it was just for acting.
 
Iā€™m not 100 per cent sure, but I think Helen Hayes was Catholic. And I have read that Susan Hayward was an adult convert. Supposedly she was quite devout in her private life, and was grateful for the spiritual comfort she received from the Church.

As far as I know, the last time I checked, Mel is NOT in SSPXā€“his father Hutton Gibson was a charter member of an Australian schismatic group which was independed of SSPX
