Gerard Butler of 300 fame, Corlianus, Attila the Hun is/was Catholic …raised in a very devout home. Don’t think he practices these days but not sure about that. Has a mixed rep …very generous and kind to crew and fans, funny, smart got a law degree from U. of Glasgow but is a womanizer…too bad…he seems genuine.

Someone mentioned Susan Hayward the late popular actress of the 40s and 50s. Susan and her husband well to do businessman Eaton Chalkey of Carrollton, Ga. They donated land and money to build a church outside Carrollton - the church stands on part of their former property - beautiful area still farmland. The church has grown from maybe a hundred families to many hundreds more. Our Lady of Perpetual Help is where Susan and her husband are buried. It’s a beautiful site out in the West Georgia hill country — Susan was making a movie titled *]I’d Climb the Highest Mountain *…that is when she met Chalkey and they married. It was a happy marriage until his sudden death. Susan I believe died in the late 70s of a brain tumor. Her personal film collection is kept at the church library where people are free to sign out copies.

Antonio Banderas is a Catholic been married to Melanie Griffin for some years.

I also have a DVD of a documentary on JPII that Rene Auberjonois narrated. I didn’t know until I read the end credits that he did the narration.

Last I heard Madonna was still very much into her Kabbalah kraziness, and I can’t imagine someone less likely to revert to Catholicism now or at any time in the future, although of course she was raised Catholic.

Martin Sheen is funny as I remember him narrating a Medjugorje video and yet I am told that he is Pro-Choice.

I wonder if Tony Shaloub is Catholic as he is from Lebanon and his first name is actually Anthony. From the shows I have seen him on he protrays a good Catholic.

I have heard Sheen is Pro-Choice too. Whatever way----he is a WAY OUT THERE Catholic.
