Rosenbalt’s ‘testimony’ is comedic and something you can almost have a chuckle over, I mean in the sense of blush blush ha ha busted - nothing to do with the horror of WWII.
But those characters from the Big Lie is plain hard to listen to as the video clearly documents these people are lying straight faced. And it just blows my mind that a renowned director like Spielberg get’s an award for something he claims is a true story that turns out to be very farfetched stories is just not cool. Why exaggerate these things to get a bigger impact, or entertain? But I guess why would we be surprised with what comes out of Hollywood, they’ve turned the Holocaust into a money making franchise, and of course they will protect that at all cost.

Nevertheless I just picked up “The Holocaust Chronicles” from the book store, 700 page hard cover book. Hopefully through a variety of sources it’ll help me piece together what all happened with better accuracy. I like to keep an open mind in a world full of lies, but in the end only God knows the entire truth.

One should never learn history from the movies (or television). Sacrificing accuracy for impact is SOP. But that really doesn’t make it a lie, as such shows make no pretense of being a documentary. A story like that is a media of conveying a message in a manner other than directly stating the message.

For example - I really love the History Channel’s The Bible even though it had many discrepancies still taught the core truth. That is the nature of the story medium.
