Holy Eucharist Stolen from Manhattan Church

The eucharist means everything, one of the parishioners of this church said after someone stole the eucharist. The thief broke open the church’s tabernacle early in the morning before the church was opened and took the eucharist. One of the auxiliary bishops came and presided at every Sunday morning mass to comfort and support the people. They don’t know who stole it.
–nor, maybe,what it would be used for.

I guess there’s nothing I can really say/do but pray.
 
It actually happened in Stockholm, Sverige that someone stole the tabernacle and left all the items that were worth any money. One of the altar servers told me they heard some strange sound from the cellar (it was just a small chapel in a school) but nobody down there. I guess it happens at times. Better security might be needed in some chapels.
 
They didn’t escape the eyes of the Lord…Praying for the parish.
 
Prayers sent for the parishioners and priests, and for the conversion of the souls who stole the Most Blessed Sacrament of our Lord.
