The Holy Father spoke this morning at the colloquium in Rome for new bishops that was attended by Bishop Hugh Gilbert of Aberdeen and Auxiliary Bishop Stephen Robson of St Andrews and Edinburgh in Scotland.

The Pope told the bishops, who arrived from around the world for the four-day event, that Christians are ‘called to the challenge of the new evangelisation.’

Good message. We must get back reverts, gain converts, and invigorate the faithful in existing Catholic Church pews. I want a strong healthy Catholic Church heading into the future.
