Nope only humans do.

Because Christ said so!
You are begging the question yet again. Please answer the following:
  1. If only falliable humans make contradictor, then why is it wise to have personal intrepretation by a falliable human? How can two people have two contadictory interpretations both following personal interpretation, both claiming to follow the HS???
  2. What do you call your pastor? Or is he even allowed be called Pastor, eh? Because Christ said so isn’t an answer since it is dependent on YOUR personal interpretation of Scripture. Furthermore, many posters have shown you where Paul and others have ascribed to a spiritual fatherhood which is what Holy Father is all about.

I am still waiting on your rebuttal to this.

Acts 10: 25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

MFM, you hatred of the Catholic Church is so deep, that when told, you still don’t see.
IT does NOT say he thought he was a GOD it says he worshipped him.

Nope! But the spirit can lead all to truth!
Are you guys so arrogant as to think the true path to salvation and indwelling of the HS can only happen through the CC and its sacrements? Do you think God only allows players at one position (so to speak) on HIS team.
And then ya’ll follow up calling us seperated brethren, that is the height of arrogance. Whatever happened to humble servants?
Indeed. You are still not answering the direct question by accusing us of arrogance. You are missing my point. Can the Spirit of Truth contradict Himself?

IT does NOT say he thought he was a GOD it says he worshipped him.
That is a lame answer. Does it have to in order to understand it as so. The context is self explanatory. Cornelius did what others have done (as shown in scripture) when confronted when meeting someone of undenialable holiness. They bowed down to worship them thanking they were God.

ONE CATHOLIC PLEASE ANSWER THIS>>>>>>
How did you INTERPRET the catholic church to be the correct church???

Your interpretting things that are not there…

Please answer my questions esp. the ones about the Holy Father. Which is what this thread is about, right?
I’m sick of answering the same question over and over…But pose it again, keep it short I am answering alot of attacks.

NOPE! for the third time.
Ok, you’ve said the HS doesn’t contradict Himself, and that the fault of contradiction is human…could there be something wrong with your falliable (which you acknowledge as such) interpretation? Hmmm…

Please answer my question about our Holy Father.

How come one can call your pastor a “Pastor” or “Reverend” but Catholics are seen as elitist, even unbiblical for calling our Pope Holy Fathers as an expression of spiritual fatherhood and honor? Do you not see the contradiction here?

Acts 10: 25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
Context, Context.

Acts 10:25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.

Since Luke is aware that worship belongs to God alone, then the only context is possible is that Cornelius was worshipping him as a God. He could not be worshipped as anything else.

26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Peter is telling him, he is not a God, so “Please Stand Up Cornelious”

Even a caveman would properly understand the context.

And it appears that this promise to the apostles was kept.

I don’t believe this was “necessarily” meant as a promise to all future Christians. i.e. The that Holy Spirit will teach everyone all things. And it certainly does not apply to all that Jesus has said to us. (Since we were not there.)

The Holy Spirit gives different gifts to each of us according to His will. All Christians do not receive every gift of the Holy Spirit, and the ones we do recieve are not necessarily “complete”. i.e. We may receive the gift of Knowledge or Wisdom in a certain area of faith and morals but not in all areas.

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you” (Jn 14:26).

YEAH and even a caveman can understand this…
"call no man father"
I see so for you its okay but not ME, EH?

Nope! But the spirit can lead all to truth!
And since we have a multitude of various Chrisian Denominations expressing truths that contradict each other how do we kow who is right?
Are you guys so arrogant as to think the true path to salvation and indwelling of the HS can only happen through the CC and its sacrements? Do you think God only allows players at one position (so to speak) on HIS team.
Yes-although those who , becuase of their invincible ignorance, have rejected the truth can be saved also. Faith is not a Sports team. Christ founded a Church. He made Peter the head of that Church and gave the keys to the Kingdm to Peter and Peters sucessors.

The fullness of Truth can only be found in the Church Chrost founded-the Catholic Church. As we can see just by reading this thread believeing that everyone gets to come up with their own version of the Truth leads to caos
And then ya’ll follow up calling us seperated brethren, that is the height of arrogance. Whatever happened to humble servants?
You are our seperated bretheren. As far as you beng a humble servant-ill let all who post here come to their own conclusion about that

I think it is more accurate to say that you are sharing scripture that you interpret to promise that a “spirit filled” man will no err in interpreting scripture.

Perhaps it would be beneficial to take that discussion to another thread?

Chuck
You guys have been reading the riot act regarding personal interpretation, I am sharing scripture regarding it.

YEAH and even a caveman can understand this…
"call no man father"
I see so for you its okay but not ME, EH?
And the context is that of calling no man father with the same attributes as God the Father. Plain and simple.

"call no man teacher"
You seem to have no problem with this?

"Call no man master"
You seem to have no problem with this either?

Why?

**Over the history, there have been slave owners that had the slaves call their owner’s master. I wonder if their Pastor ever denounced this act. Also some Pastors were slave owners as well. **

This caused me to back throught the last 25 posts I have made, I have no idea what you are talking about!
I’d like you to look at what your brethren here have been slinging at me that is the height of CHARITY…🤷
OK maybe, just maybe, you are not aware of the TONE that you use when you reply to someone. That puts people on the defensive when trying to respond to a reply/post of yours.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that your intentions are good, but they come across as hostile and angry.

As far as the uncharitible slinging?? I don’t see any posts that start out as a personal attack on you, they are in response to how you reply to them.

Gladly if you guys drop the interpretation issue from this thread otherwise we’ll get nowhere.
