"Holy See" & "USA" are on money laundering list!

I saw the article, and thought that it was a rather useless list. Anywhere that you have a couple of crooked people you can “launder” money. I’m sure every nation in the world harbors at least a few!

Even Jesus had a crook in his group of Apostles!
 
(I didn’t see the Holy See on the list in the link you provided.)

However, the Vatican Bank was being investigated for financial issues, at least a couple of years ago, which probably accounts for why it might be on that list.
 
Also if a country or financial istitution is being used for money laundering it doesn’t neccessarily mean that any of the bank employees are crooked, it can simply be a question of inadequate security.

Switzerland is certainly a center for money laudering but that doesn’t mean the backs themselves are doing anything wrong- just that people using these backs are.

I’ve laundered money a few times when I forgot to empty my pockets before loading the washing machine!😊

So have I. And when it came out of the dryer all balled up and wrinkled, I even ironed it! No starch, though.
