if a person thinks that they may have sinned against the Holy Spirit,
they should talk to the priest in Confession.
If you think you may have sinned against the Holy Spirit, please confess and speak to him.

Saint Thomas Aquinas confirmed that the unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit is the refusal to repent at death.

However, even if a person seems to have refused to repent on their deathbed, we cannot know if they accepted God’s salvation in that last instant of life

You are obviously still worried about this, either for yourself
or for another person.
Our sins against God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, can be forgiven if we repent, until the time of our death.
The unforgivable sin occurs if we die without repenting our sins and welcoming God’s mercy.

As the Catechism of the Catholic Church says, (1864)

“There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit.137 Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.”

To refuse to repent and accept God’s mercy in our last moment is the ultimate blasphemy against God, against Father, against our Savior, and against the Holy Spirit.

However none of us can judge whether any person who dies without seeming to repent,
does reject
or does accept
God’s grace within their souls in their final moment between life and death.

We pray for others, including the people we love, that they will repent of sin and accept God’s mercy in their last instant before their soul passes beyond this world.
We pray for ourselves that we will accept God’s mercy within our own souls in our last instant of existence on this earth. Lord please hear our prayers.

We trust in God’s mercy.

I hope that I, or any of us, can help to give you peace

Have you repented and received absolution? If yes, then this should not enter into your consciousness, as God has forgotten it.

Hi!

Salvation is free; it comes to us from God, through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit.

It is the Holy Spirit that makes men into friends/children of God.

By blaspheming against the Holy Spirit we reject God’s means of Salvation.

While it is true that only One Name has been Given by which all are saved, it is only through the Holy Spirit that we are granted Access to God:
3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12)
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (St. John 4)
** 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.** (Romans 14)
By rejecting/blaspheming/insulting the Holy Spirit we are rejecting God’s Grace and Salvation.

Maran atha!
