Gaza Imam Sheik Abu Saqer declares Jihad on the ‘little rascal’ Pope Ben XVI.

“The day will soon come when the green flag of La Illah Illah Allah (There is no god but Allah) and Muhammad Rasul Allah (Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah) will be raised upon the Vatican and all around the world and on the fortresses of those who want to destroy Islam, because they know that this religion obliges them to face the truth that Islam is Allah’s favorite religion. And until they join Islam, hell is their last station,” Abu Saqer said.

Abu Saqer said he rejected the pope’s stated apologies.

“He did not apologize. He said everything but an apology, which proves these are diplomatic acts and not a feeling of being sorry.”

Abu Saqer claimed he did not condone violence. He blamed the pope for recent anti-Christian attacks in the Palestinian territories.

“We are deeply sorry for these acts that we condemn,” he said. “But I am sorry that this little racist did not think of the consequences upon the Christians in the Arab world when he insulted our prophet. It is an open war – the Muslims against all the others.”
Abu Saqer is deeply sorry for the Islamist violence but… death to the Pope. Allah is most merciful, most forgiving.
 
Ah…tsk tsk. Anybody here Raymond Kraft’s take on the Muslim response to the Pope’s message? Very informative. Sad that some Muslims take too much offense, but he did point out the obvious: the Pope didn’t intend it to, but then such reactions only proved his point. Now, such reactions only reinforces the bad image Islam has to the world. These people should realize that they’re making their own faith look bad before many people’s eyes.

Really, Muslims are shooting themselves in the foot…they PROVED the Pope’s quote to be true and they showed that they don’t know neither how to read correctly nor how to reason, They PROVED everything the Pope was warning against : vioence and non-reason,

We should demand an apology from this little sheik for his ranting bigotry. Oh sorry, I forgot. Muslims never ever never apologize for anything no matter what.

The reality is, these sheiks and imams and ayatollahs, etc. were feeling very confident that the West was going to be an easy conquer. I don’t know what they fear more, that the West will find out the truth about Islam or that their own people will, and “sheik” themselves free. Ha ha.

I think some muslim clerics can be compared to the likes of Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, they have to keep the fire in their supporters anger, otherwise they will be out of bussiness.

I will never cease to be amazed and the depths of some people’s stupidity, arrogance and hypocracy. In one sentence a direct hypocritical contradiction is made. In defending an insult againt their prophet, he insults our Holy Father, the Vicar of Christ on Earth.

How can any human on the face of this planet not realize the ridiculous inherent contradiction of truth that is Islam today.

Dear Rodrigo,

Let’s pray for that Sheik because he was upset by the twisted report of the irresposible reporter. Pope B16 was quoting someone when he said his word before the university open lecture.

I do ask our fellow muslims in this forum many times of why do muslims can easily be enraged on something, without learning the real facts first. If they complained about the swedish cartoon about Muhammad, I can understand that. But, complaining about the quotation??? Did Pope B16 made the quotation to support his position??? Hardly to see, if we watch the whole transcript of his lecture and use our brain to analyze it. At least, Pope B16 is not stupid to make such statement openly and publically

If the war should ever start because of this, it will be based on misunderstanding only. What a pity. BTW, thanks for the news.

He is largely correct on this point - the pope did not apologize as to the content of what he said, but merely for the poor way in which it was received. However, I do think Benedict was truly sorry he failed to present his comments in a way that was palatable to a world audience.
 
As Pope, He shouldn’t of apologized in the first place. What he and the other Pope said about Islam was true.

This point of view is strikingly similar to that which Protestants have of Catholics, and Muslims do too, pertaining to the dark and middle ages when it was the Catholics declaring jihad on the Muslims through the crusades. Through conquests the lands changed hands many of times between Romans Catholics (via Roman empire and Holy Roman empire) and Muslims.

Ishmeal was promised and blessed by God to be a leader of a great nation too. So he was entitled to various lands in the middle east along with Isaac and his decendents. So for Catholics to have felt entitled to the land was to disregard God’s promise to both decendents of Abraham.

However as gentiles we are grafted in until the fulfillment of the gentiles is complete. So as gentiles and followers of Christ, we’re entitled to share in the promise made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Sicut Judaeis, Quantum praedecessores, Audita tremendi, Quia maior - 4 of the 5 papal bulls calling for the crusades.

The crusades were in response to Muslim aggression in the first place! By the time the crusades actually started Islam had taken over half of Christian territory!
