Read this link everyone, and after doing so, tell me if you have any remaing respect whatsoever for the Rainbow Sash group.

My charity has completely run dry with them, their vileness knows no bounds, and I strongly believe they should be banned from Church property while wearing the sash if not legal action. I understand the Church teaching of “hate the sin, love the sinner”, but what the Sashers have done (at Mass) and are allowed to do, is absolutely repugnant and disgusting. Shame on them, and may God have mercy on their souls!

Fell free to disagree with me as much as you like, but nothing anyone aside from Christ himself will make me change my mind about them.

I just read your link and I would suggest that cardinal mahoney from Los Angeles should be reported to Rome or at least to the Apostolic Nuncio, for what he is doing is completely against Church teachings.
As for attendance at Mass, I know it is difficult as we have the same problem in Melbourne and Australia wide, but we cannot stop anyone attending Holy Mass. However the Priest/Bishop should ensure Sash wearers DO NOT recieve Holy Communion.
At one time when Cardinal George Pell was our Archbishop, he ensured security gaurds were on hand to watch over Holy Communion. They picked on Cardinal Pell as he is outspoken and hardline on these issues.
My fantasy is to take scissors and cut there sashes from behind but it is but, that a fantasy.
Yes they are acting blashemously and can not be consdered Catholic but dont let them wind you up, that is what they want, a reaction, any will do for thier petty and worthless ‘cause’

This article is also being discussed on another thread. It is MADDENING that this group has such disrespect for the Church that they would stoop to disrupting the mass in this fashion.

Say CreosMary I’ve seen Cardinal Pell on EWTN and he is so impressive. You are very blessed to have him.

This is typical of the Moral Relativism that permeates the political fringe. They believe that they are right in anything they do. How long will it be before this Moral Relativism will make acts like murder legal.

has anybody noticed that homosexuals are getting bolder and bolder. the old two steps forward and one step back theory?

i also notice that people are saying “take” communion rather than “receive” there is a semantic difference.
