Homosexuals plan to protest by putting pink triangles on money they put into the collections basket. Someone posting in the combox had a great idea: Announce that all such marked money will be donated to Courage (couragerc.org), the Catholic group that helps people to stop commiting homosexual acts.

So are those pink triangles going on $1 bills or $100 bills?

I don’t think the ushers look at the currency that closely when they count and deposit it.

Let them.
Let them paint their little pink triangles.
They know they can’t be stopped.
and when they see it does not make a difference they might stop putting money in the collection basket all together.
They can do that too…stop contributing money all together.
Then they will ask themselves “Now what?”
What bunch of sad-sacks they are…pray for them.
What next?

Confront secularization boldly, Pope asks Austrian bishops
With confidence in Christ, the Holy Father said, Church leaders should “face reality fearlessly and optimistically, yet without losing the capacity to call things by the names.” Speaking bluntly himself, he spoke of the consequences secularization has wrought in Austria: "People no longer identify themselves with the teachings of the Church, and this is accompanied by a decline in the certainty of the faith and in reverence for the law of God.

I actually caught this article and blogged about it then sent him the link to the article. (He gave me credit in his first line).

I figured that this is an outrageous issue and that he could do a lot more with it than I can and I’m happy to see that he has not let me (or any of you) down.

KSTP is the station that published this little blurb on their website and they are generally the station to first (or maybe be the ONLY station) to publish anything attacking the Church.

The homosexual activism in this area is really sickening.

And the problem is that you cannot reason with these people. Showing them any form of “love” is something they take as “endorsement” for their lifestyle. They cannot seperate their behavior from their own hedonistic desires. What they do is what they are by their own definition. If you try to seperate that and point out that they are more, it is like they are children, loudly stamping their feet and proclaiming, “I am not a boy! I am not a girl! I am only my private parts and there is nothing you can do about it!”

Very very sad.

In the United State of America it is a Federal crime to deface money. But, I guess they don’t care if they break laws.

Only if the intent is “to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued.” (US Mint)

Hey, I’m poor enough. I’ll take money no matter where it comes from. If they don’t want it just slip it in my pocket. It’s still legal tender to me. I can buy my Christmas gifts with it.😃

I am surprised that anyone cares about this rumor. If there is any truth behind it, it seems to involve a small group of gays in Minnesota. Big deal.

Plans to put identifying marks on US currency come and go. It can’t feel especially enpowering to those who do so, so these sort of campaigns don’t last very long.

I would not necessarily call this a rumor.

I would like to refer you to these 2 websites for today’s news:
www.kare11.com
www.kstp.com

There was a Pastor’s summitt today in our area regarding banning gay marriage.

There was a bonb threat called in.

The “gay” activism is at an all time high here, so of course the pink triangle thing is not just a rumor…these people think that God is a Democrat.

Boy are they going to get a holy whapping if they continue in this mindset.

Last time I checked, God gets to make the rules and he doesn’t run a committee.

If you want to check out a religion run by a committee, look no further than Minneapolis’s own St. Joan of Arc parish. They call themselves Catholic only because they don’t want to leave the property.

Dramatic protests such as this are ridiculous.

Other than a few ushers seeing pink, this protest will go largely unnoticed. In fact, the more they protest, the more money they give. The business managers will be thrilled.
