They shouldn’t allow an archived version to continue to exist? Why not?
I read someone commenting on this last week. They speculated that the Church used some sort of software to take the Catechism text and create webpages with the linking and indexing. The speculation was that when they revised a few paragraphs rather than regenerate the whole Catechism they just hand edited the changed sections. That makes good sense to me.
