Ed, I tried to get into the Gay Marriage: Live & Left Live forum, and they wouldn’t let me in. They said it could be possibly breach of the rules. As far as I know, I didn’t break any rules. Has this happened to you before?

Also, could you post this link on the Live & Let live forum since I can’t get on there? This is what I have been saying all along! Thank you.

Ed, me again. I just wondered was my last post made at 11:15 this morning deleted? I guess I had too many words from the last person’s quote.

that was a vey interesting article to read. just curious but do they have a direct link to the Church or is it simply a name. not trying to detract from them, merely wondering how sound a source they would be to use in the future. i love having sound science agree with Churhc teaching for papers, especialy when its a liberl/anit-catholic proffesor.

Thanks Ed, i will finish reading it tomorrow, what i read so far is really good. but like the last poster i like to now more about them.
 
I don’t need any medical organization to tell me the facts. I was born with a homosexual orientation. Am I sick? Nope. Perfectly healthy. When will they report these facts instead of the other ones.
 
“Facts” are “facts”, particularly on the internet. 😃

Same sex attraction is not preventable. The behavior may be but not the attraction. We should accept it and move on unless the individual desires to change it. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it though. I don’t see same sex attraction as any disease.

Jim, do you think same sex marriage should be legalized since we do have a choice with the behavior?

Also, do you think that the state should enforce “hate speech” laws against someone that quotes Romans? That is where we are headed!

You haven’t been paying attention. Homosexual advocacy groups are constantly lobying legislators to make “anti-homosexual” speech, even in and dare I say especially in a religious context, outlawed as “hate speech”.

Google “homosexual hate speech”, you’ll get plenty of hits.

I’m sorry, I can find no legal consequences in the United States to anyone reading Bible verses to a homosexual person.

They do support my point. “Hate speech” laws already exist in Canada and UK. I believe that you are you are trying to gloss over the point. Please read Catholic teachings on homosexuality and subsidiarity.

I have read the teachings, and I did not ask about other countries. I’m tired of people on this thread warning that hate speech laws that will prohibit religious expression are coming to the US, since there is no evidence this is true.

The first link you provided talks about a law in the UK which is not even clearly laid out in the article; the article merely mentions “fears” that various folks have about the implications of the law, none of which are in the article substantiated with any legal language. The second link speaks first about a university’s policy, which has absolutely nothing to do with any state or federal law.

nothing is impossible, gay agendas have come a long ways…and they are not stopping.
