Go back and read the posts and you’ll see why this came up.
**It all has to do with the thread about homosexuality and how her relativism **regarding the contradictory beliefs of Wicca and Christianity come into play.

PS - If you don’t like the colors - don’t read the post. It’s that simple. 👍
Hahahaha, my being a witch has nothing at all to do with my being a lesbian, nor does it have anything to do with my belief that God is okay with me being a lesbian.

All that likewise means is that both men and women gave up natural relations. It in no way indicates that the new behaviors exhibiting in their lust were identical.
You are deluding yourself. “Natural relations” means that which our biological design clearly indicates. Natural relations are between men and women, and those produce children. Same sex relations do not fit the biological design and cannot produce children. Same sex relations do not conform to what is natural by way of God’s design. You cannot make this scripture mean what you want it to mean.

**Never said it did. **
Anyway, God has less of a problem with your same sex attraction than he does with your being a witch - as long as you aren’t actively engaging in homosexual acts, that is.

Can you prove, without citing “scripture,” that homosexual activity is unnatural?

You know I went over the 7 deadly sins in our Jr. High R.E class, we started on

Pride then

Envy

Gluttony

Lust
, then forget it all h*** broke loose.

What is it with people? Why is sex so important? I mean

Anger

Greed

and

Sloth are just as important. But noooooo talk about sex and everyone goes nuts!

My Great Aunt, may she rest in peace, died a virgin. She was 87 years old. Sex was not a high priority to her. You know something else?
It’s not that high on my list of things to do either,

water the flowers

feed the kids

go to work

call my mom

vaccuum the living room

mow the lawn

People do not die from lack of sex. Then can however die from lack of sleep.

Oh and on a side note all of our laws originated from the Bible which was inspired by God of whom I believe above any man and when God says do not________. I do not.Or at least I try very hard not to. Still working on that whole gossipping thing at work:rolleyes:those evil old ladies got a hold on me.😛

I’ve asked God to make me straight. I’ve asked God to take it away. Why won’t it go away? Everyday, I’m told I’m evil, or that I’m not evil but the way I am is evil. I’m told that all my other Catholic brothers and sisters don’t hate me but hate my sin. I’m told that I can’t love someone. I don’t understand why I was even born. I don’t understand why I should stay alive if my only purpose is to be gay, have others hate me and even hate myself. My parents were amazing. I love sports. My dad was an amazing figure. But I’m still gay. I tell myself that I can be straight if I wanted to, and it doesn’t work. I’m also told I should be celibate and I also don’t understand the fact that I’ll never love someone, romantically that is. I’ll always be alone, but I guess I’ll have God. I just want to die, and me living any longer is just in vain.

I’m editing this! Keep reading on, I’m sorry I sounded so suicidal!
You need to accept by faith alone Christ as your personal Savior. On your own you cannot change but with God’s help you can. the very first step in change of any real kind is salvation in Christ. Eph 2:8-9. Have talked with a Bible believing pastor to ket some help?

Why yes, I can. Sacred Tradition tells us that. There, I said it without Scripture. Also, wouldn’t one expect homosexuals would be able to reproduce with one another if it was God’s intent?

It goes against natural law. The “plumbing” is incorrect.

A purely homosexual society cannot naturally survive.

The purpose of the reproductive organ is for reproduction.

Natural Law

People have a basic, ethical intuition that certain behaviors are wrong because they are unnatural. We perceive intuitively that the natural sex partner of a human is another human, not an animal.

The same reasoning applies to the case of homosexual behavior. The natural sex partner for a man is a woman, and the natural sex partner for a woman is a man. Thus, people have the corresponding intuition concerning homosexuality that they do about bestiality—that it is wrong because it is unnatural.

Natural law reasoning is the basis for almost all standard moral intuitions. For example, it is the dignity and value that each human being naturally possesses that makes the needless destruction of human life or infliction of physical and emotional pain immoral. This gives rise to a host of specific moral principles, such as the unacceptability of murder, kidnapping, mutilation, physical and emotional abuse, and so forth.

I can only say one thing about “Sacred Tradition:” lol.

Sacred Tradition also told you 1) the Earth is flat and 2) the sun, planets, and stars revolve around the Earth.

Why would reproduction be required for it to be God’s intent? Homosexual couples, as well as infertile heterosexual couples, are great candidates for raising orphans, since they are not already “burdened” with raising offspring of their own production.

Sacred Tradition never told us those things, and you apparently don’t know what it is. There is Sacred Tradition and tradition. Tradition may have said those things, but Sacred Tradition is on the same level as Scripture.

Now, man kind was made to reproduce. He was made to make of his own. That is a requirement for a race to survive. No one should be able not to, at least not without some medical condition.

Really? And why is that? Even with all of us homosexuals, as well as all the infertile heterosexual couples, the population is steadily increasing. There is plenty of reproduction already occurring, and it is a sin to let orphans fall by the way side just because you’re too busy trying to fill the world with even more people.

Are you arguing that it is the duty of a woman to bear children, period?

Are you arguing that an infertile person can be homosexual without it being a sin since they have a medical condition making it impossible to bear children?

Homosexual behavior is an intrinsic evil. You are trying to equate other things with it.

I wouldn’t call it evil. It’s a sin, yes, and it is evil, but I don’t think you mean to say the people are evil. I’ve spent a good deal of time trying to counsel them. They are misled and lost, some of them want to rebel against the Church because it teaches that what they do is a sin.

The Catechism calls the act an intrinsic evil.
