You’re right, Lapell–what Angelos is telling you doesn’t even make sense. Many women are highly honored in Islam. If in the Qur’an ALL women were considered deceptive, that would even include Mary!! Which of course isn’t the case. Also the daughter of Pharaoh who picked up Moses from the river.

You cannot edit or ignore the Koran verse that accuses ALL women of being tricky! According to your scripture, beguiling is a prevalent female characteristic:

Surah 12:28. So when he saw his shirt torn from behind, he said: Lo! this is of the guile of you women. Lo! the guile of you is very great.

Mohammad’s scribes made Potiphar blame all women for having tendency to making plots and deceiving men!

You cannot deny Koran’s hasty and faulty generalizations with the help of specific examples!

Above all, muslim scholars agree that killing one innocent person is equivalent to killing all of mankind. And saving one life is like saving all of mankind. That’s in the qur’an.

Secondly, it is a basic principle in Islamic law that there is no harm done, nor any reciprocal harm.

This is just so fundamental, it’s outrageous that anyone could claim that any text anywhere allows otherwise. But that’s what’s happening. It’s almost like some of these posters WANT Islam to be so evil–and indeed, that might serve their purpose. They want Islam to be evil, they want Muslims to be hateful…

Like I stated before - innocent does not have the same definition for muslims as for infidels.

Innocent - only muslims are innocent. No infidel is considered to be innocent.

The above definition explains not only why so many muslims dance and ulalate when infidels die - especially after 9/11, or when they have a successful bombing in israel.

It is not I who edits, but you. The speaker in that verse, called AL-AZEEZ and not Potiphar, is talking to his wife and HER SERVANTS and women of the house, who are previously mentioned. One man calling his wife deceitful (as she was) is hardly a condemntation of all women. It’s not even close to generalizing all women.

The Qur’an says

Lo! men who surrender unto Allah, and women who surrender, and men who believe and women who believe, and men who obey and women who obey, and men who speak the truth and women who speak the truth, and men who persevere (in righteousness) and** women who persevere**, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their modesty and women who guard (their modesty), and men who remember Allah much and **women who remember **- Allah hath prepared for them forgiveness and a vast reward.

Allah is talking about women the opposite of what you describe. CLEARLY there are such women, or Allah wouldn’t have revealed this verse nor prepared such a reward.

Your statement was just a generalization manufactured by either yourself or some other fool who intends to slander the Qur’an.

Yeah you are right. but, it certainly explains why sister amy is so ignorant of her new chosen religion.

She didn’t do her homework before joining and now she only gets what some guy who wants her to know only certain things and keep other things from her… until she is more fully in their grasp… when she is married and carted off to wherever she is going in the Middle East.

Too bad more who are like her don’t do some research of other women who have done the same thing and escaped with their lives and some without their children.

How do you know why I’m upset? Do you know what I’ve been reading for the last two hours? You can bet it wasn’t CAF!

I was reading about the ATROCITIES committed against people in Palestine. On a daily basis. That’s why I’m upset. Those are some facts that the world needs to face.

Even if only Muslims were considered innocent in Islam (which is not the case) then still the girl killed in morningstar’s story WOULD BE INNOCENT!
