host desecration on Youtube

I’ve been considering recently getting a large photograph of Eric Schmidt, who is CEO of YouTube, and “desecrating” Eric’s photo. . . by flame, by blender, flush toilet, etc.

Of course, the utmost would be a torching of Eric Schmidt in effigy. . . but that has too many wild associations. Best to stick with an 8 x 10 photo.

Any thoughts?

The videos would be posted on YouTube. It would be interesting to see how long the company would keep them up!
Any video you do make sure to put in it that its copyrighted so if domi uses it you can sue!

Did anyone bother to see my earlier post?

If you desecrate this secular image of Eric Schmidt you will open up a whole new battlefield in which the atheist can claim we are just as bad by burning, flushing, blending this man’s face. Now I don’t know about everyone else but I do not wish for youtube to be plagued with holy images being desecrated on out of backlash.

Wouldn’t making a video speech about the injustice and nessecity to end these forms of hate against religion be so much more helpful? Think about the early defenders of the Catholic Church, did they find the busts of heretics and attempt to physically do harm to them? No they spoke the truth of the real faith which brought an end to hundreds of different heresies through the ages. Now I’m not saying Atheism is as easy to destroy as heresy, and I’m sure the enemy will find a way to shout their hatred (through renewed accounts, personal websites) but it’s not a Catholic’s duty to go as low as the enemy and promote desecration and expect defense for their own sacred images.

That’s a very good point.

I suppose I’m thinking more about how quickly the YouTube staff can respond. . . when they want to!

Making a big uproar about this will only get this kid more views. I think that we should just pray for him, and ignore his videos. I also think that we should make more pro-Catholic videos, and post them to YouTube. There aren’t enough pro-Catholic videos on YouTube, and it would be nice if more were posted there.

If we don’t give that kid any attention at all, he’ll see that we’re ignoring him, and maybe he’ll stop. Also, we can pray for his conversion.

These videos are really disturbing to me. However I think everyone needs to be reminded about how Christ dealt with being arrested. St. Peter took a weapon and cut off the ear of one of the Roman soldiers. So what was Christ’s response? To admonish Peter and to put the ear back onto the soldier. Even though Jesus knew he was going to be executed he did not want violence in his name.

Even though Christ is being desecrated in these videos he would not want us to take any rash action. Talk to YT’s sponsors, YT, the media, but do not create violent videos. It will only make a person seem like a hypocrite and it will go against God’s will.

Report FSMDUDE aka Dominique Poulin to the Local Police

One of my blog readers provided this info to me. He is encouraging more people to report Dominique Poulin to the local police:

The Quebec City RCMP Detachment has been alerted to Dominic’s activities and have been asked to investigate. The more complaints they receive, the more priority, and resources the local police will dedicate to this.

Minimally prosecutable as property crimes:
In order to obtain these consecrated hosts, Dominic misrepresented himself as a qualified Catholic and thereby fraudulently obtained possession of the hosts. Consequentially these hosts are classified as stolen property, and his ensuing destructions are crimes of mischief. Since these hosts are “objects associated with religious worship”, the charge of Mischief relating to religious property (Canada Criminal Code 430 (4.1) which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment is applicable.

laws.justice.gc.ca/en/ShowDoc/cs/C-46/bo-ga:l_X::bo-ga:l_XI//en?page=7&isPrinting=false#codese:430-ss:4_1
Other charges are being considered as well.

Dominic, aka FSMDude should turn himself in to:

RCMP - GRC
Québec City Detachment

Quebec, PQ G2G 2S5 Canada

In the Frequently Asked Questions website of the **Quebec City RCMP **they answer the question of how to report criminal activity by e-mailing them through their website.

Here’s the webpage url rcmp-grc.gc.ca/qc/faq/faq_e.htm#crime

Excerpt:

**How can I report a crime?

In case of emergency, or if you require police assistance or wish to report a crime, please call 911 or your local police department. If you reside outside Canada and assistance is required in Canada, your local police can request it from the appropriate Canadian agency. Should a law enforcement agency request our assistance on your behalf through Interpol, we wish to assure you of our complete cooperation with them.

The purpose of our Web site is to keep the public informed on the type of duties performed by RCMP police officers and investigators. You are kindly requested to contact us by e-mail only for all your non-urgent inquiries that do not require immediate action. In most cases, we will issue an acknowledgement of receipt or a reply within three business days following receipt of your inquiry. **

Peace.

I have already done my part and sent in the criminal complaint through the link I provided above and ask that other Catholic’s here at CAF do the same. If enough people complain about FMSdude’s (Dominique Poulin’s) actions then it will get the local police to investigate this matter.

I forgot to applaud Suzanne for posting the information about the local Quebec City police. Bravo to you :clapping: :clapping: and God bless :signofcross:

Thanks PazFeAmor, but the thanks goes to Jack Picknell who brought it to my attention. Thanks Jack! 👍

Ok, this may sound to simple. Why doesn’t the priest not give him Communion? I can’t believe this is not known at the Catholic Parish where this is taking place. I would like to know how to get ahold of the Priest and the Bishop.

The parish which I had already named in a previous post in this thread “Saint Felix” in Quebec, Canada is already aware of the situation and the bishop was informed several weeks ago of the consecrated hosts being stolen from the church by this disturbed young man (FMSdude). What action will be taken by church authorities is yet to be known.

The address/telephone of the church I will post again but be aware that the church secretary only speaks French and when I myself tried calling the church she hung up on me because I only could speak English to her.

By Thaddeus M. Baklinski October 17, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A series of 40 Host desecration videos originally pulled from YouTube after an outcry of protest from Catholics, then reposted the same day, have been “age-gated,” which means the videos are not available to the general

They’re still available to anyone not dumb enough to register themselves as under 18.

All YouTube did was remove them for a couple of hours then put them back.

According to the Catholic Church Directory this is a parish with 24,300 parishioners – unless everyone has been made to memorize his picture they may not even recognize him if he presents for communion.

Has he proven that he actually received a consecrated host each time?

It’s only one face, it’s not hard for all the EMHC to memorise it and not give him the Eucharist when he comes.

I am shocked by the number atheists on youtube.
I’m not. The internet and YOUTUBE mostly is filled with a bunch of useless young individuals who because of lack of good parenting and God in their lives have and will amount to nothing.

I know the first thing people who love Jesus and see Him treated so disrespectfully want to do is to lash out at the perpetrator. The thing is that this anger only pleases this person even more. If we all stopped giving him so much attention which is what he seems to crave, and instead all said a rosary today to make reparations for this sacrilege, it would be of more consolation to Jesus than our fury.

I’ll be glad if that kid is arrested. That might give him plenty of time to think about what he has done.

Just a side note, it seems that in almost every Catholic video I’ve come across on YouTube, there’s always some atheist or fundamentalist in the comments who puts it down.

I just wanted to clarify something since the RCMP has just sent me a response to my criminal complaint against FMSdude who made the desecration videos. It seems that it is NOT through the RCMP (or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police) that one would make such complaints and I will paste below part of the e-mail I received telling me where such complaints should be directed.

In response to your email, we suggest contacting the Quebec City Police Department (Service de police de la ville de Québec) for assistance and/or to file a complaint:
Service de police - Ville de Québec
275, rue de la Maréchaussée
Québec (Québec) G1K 2L3
Téléphone : 418 641-6292

You know you can buy ‘hosts’ at a lot of corner stores in Quebec. We used to eat them like chips. While the videos are meant to shock, I’d have serious doubts about the host being consecrated.
Yes of course we are all aware of this. But Dom gets his hosts at Mass during communion. He has a video of himself getting communion. He wanted to do that so that we all know that his hosts are consecrated.

Do NOT give this “fsmdude” any more attention. Stop watching his videos. The only thing we can and should do is PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. We need to pray for his conversion. But do not stop at praying. FAST, FAST, FAST… Penance, Penance, Penance! That was the message from our Lady of Lourdes and again from our Lady of Fatima. Ignore Dominique/fsmdude and pray for him instead.

The idea of reporting him to the police sounds great. I think it will probably get us a little further than reporting him on YouTube where they’re all secularists anyway. This way, you won’t have to watch any of his videos any more. Apparantly flagging the videos does not work. So get the police on him. After that, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! :crossrc: Say many Rosaries for him too. :gopray: http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/NunRosary.gif

Theft by fraud typically requires a trade of services or some other monetary or proprietary loss (here in the US) to the complainant (which would be the church). Unless the church files charges, I don’t even see the police blinking, and even if they do, the case will be dismissed quicker than you can blink. There is no criminal case here.
