If there are so many Catholics that attend the Mass where the Eucarist is being stolen then there are more people that can help stop it. There should be no problem posting his little face on the front doors and asking everyone to help protect the body of our Lord. What a shame that the Priest and Bishop are not doing more to stop this.

A thought I had was that it would be appropriate during this year of St. Paul to pray for this man to have a Saul of Taursus/St. Paul experience where he will come face to face with the One he persecutes and know Him as Lord and God.
It seems he is crying out for attention and only feeds on his notoriety. Some people, like little toddlers, would rather have negative attention than none at all. If all he really wanted to do was prove his contempt for God, he could have committed this act for his own gratification but he seems to get more from people’s reactions to what he did than from the act itself.

I just wanted to clarify something since the RCMP has just sent me a response to my criminal complaint against FMSdude who made the desecration videos. It seems that it is NOT through the RCMP (or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police) that one would make such complaints and I will paste below part of the e-mail I received telling me where such complaints should be directed.

In response to your email, we suggest contacting the Quebec City Police Department (Service de police de la ville de Québec) for assistance and/or to file a complaint:

Peace.
Would it not be more productive to report him to the Quebec Human Rights Commission? After all, he certainly is instigating hate. Just look at the replies on YouTube from the anti-Catholics there.

FSMDUDE aka Dominique Poulin has pulled his host desecration videos off YouTube!

Thanks to the Crossed the Tiber Blog for the alert:

Fmsdude just pulled his 40 U Tube videos of Eucharistic desecration. Apparently someone tracked him down and found his address and wrote a letter to his father suggesting he encourage his son to remove the videos. There apparently is a law in Canada against desecrating religious objects and the letter mentioned this.
Continue to pray for the soul of the desecrator and all those who encouraged him by their vile comments on the u tube site.

God have mercy.

And this is from Dominique Poulin’s YouTube Profile:

Hello. This message have a rather serious issue. My father received today this letter at our home:

«Dear M. Poulin,
Subject: Dominique Poulin
Dominique Poulin has been identified as the person who is posting videos of Eucharist Desecration on the web site youtube using the account FSMdude. The link to his account is fr.youtube.com/user/fsm dude

His posting are very hateful to Catholics. He has a video showing him stealing consecrated hosts from Saint-Félix de Valois in Cap-Rouge. He is doing things with hosts like feed them to ducks, driving nails through them, burning a cross with a magnifying glass, etc. To say the least very disturbing and foolish.

He as had to delete whole web sites that he made in an attempt to hide his identity rather then take down these videos. He seems almost obsessed with making these videos. Even as I write this letter he is adding more disturbing videos. The time right now is 2:47 am ET daylight saving Oct. 17.

Dominique, though nineteen, still lives under your roof and must obey the rules you set down for him. Please require him to remove these videos from youtube.

I will not inform the general public about where he lives. I have informed the Church in Québec and other organization whom act in defense of the Catholic Church. I will not inform the public because with the emotions involved with attacks against any religion someone might do him harm. I dont think that is what Jesus would want. Now that the fore mentioned organizations have been informed where Dominique lives they may decide to take legal action against him.

It took a lot of work but it was not that hard to find out were Dominique lives. Eventually someone else will find out were he lives. I can only hope they will be concerned for Dominiques safety as I am.

I am going to make a French version of this letter use the web site babel fish. Unfortunately the grammar will be a bit off.

I will continue to pray for Dominique & the rest of your family. Good bye.» (anonymous writer)

So, yeah, he found out where I live. My father checked my videos. At first he was saying it was stupid to act this way, that catholicism was his religion and that I souldn’t care about what others believes, no matter what. He didn’t overreact (we live in Quebec after all). But then I showed him PZ Myer’s article (It’s just a frackin’ cracker), it seems he realised what it was all about, and the conversation ended as: you’re putting youself in trouble and they could attack you (he didn’t realise that he was underlying the fact that: Yes, there’s people nuts enough out there to attack you for a cracker, like mentionned in this anonymous letter.) So the question is: what should I do? There’s no way I’m going to say sorry for offending a non-existent being. If I remove my videos, they win. If I don’t remove them, they’ll put publicly my personal adress (If I weren’t living with my father that wouldn’t be a problem, but I understand that I live in his house).

So I made my choice: I’m going to remove my videos, BUT! I won’t say sorry for offending people over a stupid belief and for offending the invisible alpha male in the sky (who’s a great ethnic genocide enthusiast). So you know what, I’ve been taken down, but I’ll let the others take care of this as they see fit.

UNLEASH HELL ON THEM, BOYS!

Well, another posted had suggested the RCMP be contacted about this which I did and they directed me to the local Quebec City police. I would think that a human rights organization would be more about cases of torture or being unjustly held in jail without a trial.

This falls more into the realm of the local authorities. Besides, the problem with the videos made by FMSdude has been resolved as he has taken the videos off of Youtube. AMEN!!!

However, one of the comments on his site reads “Send me the videos if you like, FSMDude. I’ll host them on my account giving you full credit.”, there are still those who want to carry this on.

It may not be over yet, we must still keep our eyes peeled for this sort of thing.

While one set of videos are gone and this guy is probably never going to desecrate Christ again, there are still many more videos like it on YouTube. I’m afraid this fight will not be over very quickly.

Thats why I think its important to contact their sponsorship. It seems the only way to get Youtube’s attention is via their pockets and as a reminder from their sponsors of their own rules, namely:
We encourage free speech and defend everyone’s right to express unpopular points of view. But we don’t permit hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity).
Obviously a desecration of the Host would fit into this category as it was directed at a certain group of people, Us. A classic definition of a hate crime:
a crime directed at a person or persons on the basis of characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
So lets get Youtube’s attention through their pockets(peacefully and civil) and lets continue to pray for the misguided souls.

The Human Rights Commissions in Canada also p(er)rosecute so-called “hate crimes”. That is it is against the law in Canada to say anything that may someone to feel hate or contempt for a group of people. It has been used to prosecute pastors, even investigate the Bishop of Vancouver BC, for quoting the Bible when it calls homosexual acts “abomination”. They have also prosecuted a man, Mark Steyn, who wrote a book about the 9/11 attacks and some iman there in Canada filed charges against him because he pointed out in his book that the terrorists who attacked the USA on 9/11 are Moslem.

Clearly what this -ahem- person is doing is clearly a hate crime. It is certainly intended to incite hate against Catholics. That absolutely positively is exactly what the HRC is charged with prosecuting.

Furthermore, it no longer matters that the videos are gone. All that is needed is for one Canadian, in any province, to file a complaint with the local provincial HRC.

Well, then we shall have to see if at least one Canadian citizen would be willing to do this. I wish I could but alas I am not Canadian and trust me when I say that MANY people have already downloaded copies of his videos (myself included) so I am sure if such a case could be made many would step up to offer their own copies if evidence is needed. 😛

Peace.

Frankly, this “law” alarms me more than comforts me. It seems odd to use the law to silence others when the same law attempts to silence our own bishops and those that believe God’s law is higher than man’s and teach what God says rather than kowtow to political correctness. I think the “law” should be abolished myself. This kind of thing is never good for those that actually have firm beliefs. We can’t scream when the law is used against us and then turn around and use it against someone else. It really is impossible to legislate someone’s heart. I still think we ALL need to spend time praying for this man to have a Saul/Paul experience. The only way to really make a change is in the heart, not in the courtroom.

So with all the smack that little punk talks, his daddy finally made him take the videos off!!! I guess this genius didn’t figure out that it would be a matter of time before someone found out his real name. Or where he lived. Not that I wouldn’t mind it happening
:D…but I suppose he should be glad a not so practicing Catholic would appear on his doorstep and try to flush him down a toilet!!! 😃

What a spineless little punk…

The difference is in intention and action. How many Bishops in proclaiming the Church’s teachings have been as inflammatory as the kid was. His intention was to offend and inflame. The Bishops job is to instruct. You only have Free Speech up to a certain point.

I’m glad that this crisis has ended at the best ending it could achieve though it feels like a hallow win since similarly like Myer’s actions other militant Atheist are planning to repeat the stunt.
Dear ====,
Please offer thanksgiving that the maker (fsmdude) of the 55 Host Desecration videos has finally removed them from YouTube!
I have included a thanksgiving prayer at the bottom of this email for you to say. Please say it with fervor, ardor and zeal.
But the fight to defend Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist continues. A new blasphemer who calls himself TJ has posted a video on YouTube, and he states:
“I have no respect for your Jesus-freak nonsense and I am happy to offend you and your filthy, hate mongering, sadistic, piece of c-xxx scumbag of a God!!!”
Send your protest message to YouTube-Google directors telling them this is shocking and must be pulled immediately.
Because in his new video, TJ says:
“…everyday I am going to go to Church, I am going to get my little wafer, I am going to smuggle it out after it has been blessed and it is Jesus’ body, and I am going to bring it home, and I will collect them until I have about 5 of them…and then I am going to make a video and I am going to desecrate them in a very vile way. I am not exactly sure what yet, but I have a whole week to come up with my methods. So, if anyone has any ideas, let me know.”
He uses pages of the Bible to blow his nose, saying it is “a stupid book, a work of fiction and if you don’t like what I just did, get over it! Because believe me, I am going to do way worse in the days and weeks to come.”
And he ends with: “The Eucharist has not seen desecration until TJ desecrates it.”
Shocking!
You and I cannot accept this type of hate speech against our dearest Lord in the Blessed Eucharist.
We must protest immediately to YouTube and Google directors telling them this new video is beyond the pale and must be pulled immediately. Today. Right now. This instant.
And we must demand that TJ’s account be suspended so he cannot post the vile desecrations of the Holy Eucharist that he has threatened to do.
Because YouTube-Google has pulled videos offensive to Jews and Muslims but seems slow to pull videos that attack the Catholic Church, Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, and the Bible: the inspired word of God.
This is not fair.
SEND your protest message NOW! And please offer a prayer of reparation as well. I have included one below for your convenience.
ThThank you!
Sincerely,
Robert E. Ritchie
America Needs Fatima
P.S. – SEND a strong protest message immediately to YouTube and Google directors tel telling them this new video is beyond the pale and must be pulled immediately. Today. Right now. This instant.
If you like to do more to protest these desecration threats against the Holy Eucharist, please call or send a fax to YouTube-Google.

Google/YouTube Board Members,
This is to vehemently complain against a new video (youtube.com/user/Discipline01) posted on YouTube by TJ in which he insults the Catholic Faith, blows his nose on pages of the Bible, and threatens to steal Holy Communion Hosts to desecrate in the most vile ways and post videos of himself doing it.
I don’t accept this. I understand you have pulled videos offensive to Jews and Muslims. I expect you to remove any and all videos that offend the most sacred beliefs of Catholics.
As a board member of YouTube or Google, I demand you ensure that Catholics receive respect, and equal and fair treatment.
Honestly now it seems like a wasted battle and an endless war…I still think if we have the faith that this is the body and blood of christ that it should be protected approriately. (Mouth inspection; layman not distributing made to watch the transfer) If their never going to stop then why not make thier obsticle to Christ’s body impossible to reach?

I don’t agree. These laws are in place for a reason. Fsmdude has bad intentions to hurt. The Bishops do not. Many Saints were in prison at one point in their lives or another. And it was not because they intentionally wanted to hurt someone. But because they did the right thing. Look at Peter & Paul, not to mention Jesus! They were in prison for doing the right thing. Do not forget the Litany of Humility. Many Saints prayed that powerful prayer.
O Jesus, meek and humble of heart, hear me.

From the desire of being esteemed,
deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being loved,
From the desire of being extolled,
From the desire of being honored,
From the desire of being praised,
From the desire of being preferred to others,
From the desire of being consulted,
From the desire of being approved,

From the fear of being humiliated,
deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being despised,
From the fear of suffering rebukes,
From the fear of being calumniated,
From the fear of being forgotten,
From the fear of being ridiculed,
From the fear of being wronged,
From the fear of being suspected,

That others may be loved more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be esteemed more than I,
That in the opinion of the world,
others may increase, and I may decrease,
That others may be chosen and I set aside
,
That others may be praised and I unnoticed,
That others may be preferred to me in everything,
That others may become holier than I,
provided that I may become as holy as I should.

I could highlight/bold the whole thing but then what would be the point in bolding at all. So I bold the ones that would correlate best with the matter at hand about what you said as to why you do not like that law. But the whole prayer if very important.

My point is that we cannot put our faith in laws or any secular government because they are not our stronghold. Laws change according to the whims of people…what was once illegal is now legal, such as abortion and what was once legal is now illegal, such as slavery.
Our one and only stronghold is God, and if we look to any other source we are looking in the wrong direction. I understand that there are times we are required by true charity to stop something that offends God if it is in our power to do so, but we can never put our hope in men. It is part of our nature I think to want “to do something”. Unfortunately, we sometimes “do something” and then pray instead of praying first about what we should do.
The fact that many saints have been imprisoned for their faith just proves what I am saying. There is no way we can depend on anyone to save us but God.

You clearly do not understand what I was saying. You do not understand about the saints being imprisoned either. You didn’t even read the prayer. And if you did, you don’t understand that either as to how it correlates with the matter of which we speak.

I did read the prayer and I like it very much. Thank you for sharing it. Also, I did not mean in any way to offend you. My comments were meant in a general sense of societies way of thinking and were not directed at anyone in particular. I only mean to say that laws will not fix what is wrong inside people’s hearts. If I have missed what you are saying I think we can agree that whatever good that comes in this world, if it comes through prayers or laws, the source of all good is still God.

I didn’t take it as a personal offense.

No they cannot fix what’s in our hearts. But they are still in place to bring us in the right direction. They are there to protect us from doing what is wrong and they protect us from people who do wrong.
If I have missed what you are saying I think we can agree that whatever good that comes in this world, if it comes through prayers or laws, the source of all good is still God.
Yes, of course, the source of all good is God.
