& what I’ve noticed by the JW members & many Religions Cults is that I find many of its Members Seem very weak mined & easily able to brainwash its amazing to me of how many of these people get suckered into these cults & how brainwashed they become to believe a man made religion is real .

I Just Pray that all these people wake up & see the light & be Directed toward Other Religions & Other Homes Of God rather its Baptist ,Or Catholic I do pray to Mary & our Lord that they’ll Guide Our Holy Sisters & Brothers & the Innocent to Other Homes Of God were there’s No suffering Or pain Of Man Made worship .

& Just Wish we could get all these People in JW in A Huge Room & show them what they’re been brainwashed into Believing some man who’s not God .

God isn’t happy with these types of Religions Its not what His heart represents .

Kanzaz

Beautifully said!!! Very powerful statement: “…It’s not what His heart represents”

So very true; He gives us His heart in the Eucharist. GOD is LOVE first and foremost, not strictly the angry, avenging Father; the adorable heart of GOD is one, huge magnet for sure. Ever read stories of the Saints caught up in Contemplative prayer & God gives them a “blast” of His Love, reduces them to a puddle - most say they would have died if he had not kept them going.

We have a choice:
Go through the door of GOD’S MERCY or
Go through the door of GOD’S JUSTICE

Which is easier? Obviously the justice of His mercy - you get justice either way but the mercy option is much sweeter:thumbsup:

Agree Kanza…I don’t think they’re very well educated nor inclinded to connect the dots. There was a heresy in 300-400 AD with a group stating Christ wasn’t divine. Outcome was the Nicene Creed. I believe the JWs are connected. They aren’t Christians. To them Christ is the Angel Michael.

True God is Love In almost every Religion God is Love & wants Everyone to come to A Peaceful ground , & welcome everyone , Man , Woman & Child into his Home Not Shunned the away .

If you are ever on YouTube Type In " EX-JW’s " Or " EX-Jehovah Witness" & you’ll come across A Bunch of YouTubers Who are Former JW Members & One Girl Nearly Had me crying Listening to Her Story in one Video She Tell’s A Story about Her been in A store shopping & She sees Another Lady Who is Still A JW & she goes up to her to Talk While Checking out & the Lady Put her Stuff into the Bags & ran out of the Store & The lady behind the counter was like What was that all about? & The girl told her & The Cashier Was like that’s not been Christian & that’s not how GOD is He About Love & Family & getting people together not Seperating us .

In the Video the Girl said She Told the lady that No matter what She will always Love her & Many others in the JW ,But she was like She had to get out Cause she also have Children & Plus After awhile she said She Just couldn’t do it anymore That she couldn’t do anymore Door to Door Services Knowing she was speaking A Lie & not the Truth of God So She left the JW .

There are Also Video’s Of Many EX-JW’s Who Grew up as JW’s Children which you Have to watch It’ll Break your heart to listen to Former Ex JW’s when they were JW Children .

DISFELLOWSHIPPING/SHUNNING either term means the same; a recipe for disaster to be sure - subjective & arbitrary & a completely AVOIDABLE practice.

I have mentioned on LDS posts Shunning is awful, brutal, UN-CHRISTLIKE. Probably an affront to the 5th Commandment. Disregard of the inherent GOD-GIVEN DIGNITY of the person. LOVE the SINNER, HATE the SIN - Common sense demands don’t hang out with a bank robber while he’s robbing as chances are you’ll do JAIL TIME; common sense we don’t reject them as Christ died for them too and they are Temples of the HOLY SPIRIT? We are ALL CRACKED VESSELS! Put on the MIND of CHRIST - Avoid unnecessary harm & keep it minimal if unavoidable - is much more ethical than complete abandonment of the disfellowshipped.

That is fair enough.
We are not opposed to celebrations in general or to the giving of gifts, and do celebrate special occasions like weddings and anniversaries. However, we do not celebrate holidays that have non-Christian religious origins or those that promote nationalism.
Many like to study the Bible with us, but stop short of making changes in their lives. that is their choice. All we can do is share the information we have found. What people do with it is up to them.

As for being a cult: We are not.
Cults usually follow one person, are noted for withdrawing from society and are very secretive about their beliefs and practices.
= How much less secrative could you be about your beliefs than going to strangers doors and saying: “can we please show you what we believe and why?” Ha ha. 😃

Enjoy.
JW celebrate anniversaries and weddings? Do JW’s use wedding rings? Biblical verse for their usage?

I don’t know many Jehovah’s witnesses. I do work with three of them and they seem to have a lot of anger and hostility toward the Catholic Church. One of them asked me, “How can you believe in a religion that was started by a Roman Emperor?” Or that, “You are definitley going to hell.” Obviously I don’t know much about their faith. I also am not here to make fun of them. It’s hard to get a feel for there beliefs from 3 people. Have other people experienced this kind of theatment from them? God Bless
I have had a JW come to my front door for months now. Her name is Jenny, and she is actually quite lovely. I was accepting her book graciously and we would have a little chat. I nearly invited her in, by was warned by others to not do this, otherwise they will not leave and they will expect it everytime. And I guess too, she might think I was ready to convert to JW.

When I thought I had returned to the Catholic Church, I told her this and she said that’s ok, we have many people of many faiths that accept our books and like to read them. I continued to accept them also. Then, there were things in there I just couldn’t agree with. I found they knocked the Catholic Church a lot, and pretty much any other religion.

Only last week, she came again. I was expecting her, it had been 4 weeks. She always comes every 4 weeks on a Wednesday. We chatted again, small talk as usual. Then she went into her bag to hand me a book. I told her, I didn’t want to take anymore of her books. That I was struggling to believe a lot of what was in there, and I thought it was wrong to ‘knock’ other religions the way they do in their books. She told me everything in there in bible based…yeah right…bla bla bla…I said, well you know my history (occult, spiritualism, buddhism) and that I was too open-minded to accept their beliefs…sounds crazy, maybe that makes me the opposite, hope you know what I mean.:o

So, she was polite and said she understood and if I had any questions she was happy to answer them. She left, but not before stating that when she’s in the area she will pop in just to say ‘hello’.

It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. We did build up a bit of a friendship, but then I starting thinking that she was just ‘doing her job’ she didn’t really care about me. Needless to say, she is not ‘gone forever’. She will be back, and this, I think makes them quite pushy. Can’t take no for an answer. It has always bothered me that they ‘door knock’. Why do they feel it’s ok to push their beliefs on others like that. Catholic’s don’t, Baptist’s don’t, Buddhist’s don’t. Ok, Mormons do, I think it just them and JW’s isn’t it?

Guess, next time, I just need to be strong again, and say no politely then walk away. 🤷

I once had a customer approach me at work too, asking me if I accept Jesus. I was horrified that this man did this to me at work. This was a low act I thought. He was pushy and got very cranky at me when I told him, yes I believed in Jesus, he was a great man and healer, and regardless or what he believes ‘I believe’ I will end up in heaven. I have never forgotten that man, he ruined my day.

Blessings. 🙂

Pls see jw.org for accurate info on JW beliefs.
For someone to tell you that “you are definitely going to hell” is a very un-Christian thing to say. (And a side note is that JW’s do not believe in a fiery hell because the bible doesn’t teach it. Hell/sheol is just the common grave of mankind.)
The 3 JW’s at your job may not be baptised or they may be new or their personality may not mix well with yours. Perhaps you were offended by what was said. I’ve made plenty of mistakes in witnessing/explaining bible truth when I 1st began to study the Bible.)
Anyhow, the website will be a big help to you & you can access any time at your leisure.

I don’t take anything seriously from a group of people who are so secretive that they have no windows on their church. 😃

Ha! That’s a good one!
By your smiley I take it you are joking!😃

Basically there are a lot of Kingdom Halls without windows to deter crime.
How could there be ‘secretive’ things going on in there when the public is openly invited to all the meetings??😉
