House blessings and Spiritual Attacks

I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. My home has recently been attacked also. I have gone to the eucharistic chapel,blessed all doors with holy water, began some novenas, and started praying the Rosary again. I feel for you, I too have experinced worse attacks the closer I get to Jesus. It is a spiritual warfare. The Devil knows he is loosing our souls to Jesus. He will torment us to scare us to make us stop praying and loose faith. When you are scared cry out to Jesus. I do it several times out loud. " IN the name of Jesus, I bind and command all unclean spirits out of this house immedietly, followed by the St Michael prayer. I will keep you in my prayers. Please pray for my family also.

I was just wondering why have people recommended getting St. Benedict medals? I don’t know much about the topic at hand but it seems like many people are recommending these medals. I am just curious as to why St. Benedict medals instead of, let’s say, a medal of St. Michael or a different medal.

**fabricdragon ** You can be sure that that I am going not only to Eucharistic Adoration but also daily mass and Sunday mass, praying the rosary and guarding my behavior. I try to keep in mind saints like Padre Pio and what they went through in their dark nights and I hope that I can stay the course and stay strong in the faith. What I really need to do is pay more attention to keeping the house neat. LOL I tend to always be searching for stuff all around the house and have little clutter piles scattered around. I need to be on check for that.

NIcole Thank you for your kind words. We all need to stay strong in enduring these attacks. I have found that going like a madman around the house throwing holy water is not the answer. That is not putting enough faith in the Lord. Now don’t get me wrong, holy water serves an important purpose but I have found that if I let my fear overtake me then I still get attacked.

I asked Saint Teresa of Avila in addition to the Archangel Michael to help me through this and Saint Teresa inspired me to do as she did in her life when dealing with these kind of attacks and that is to go within herself and find peace in the Lord and I find that this helps strengthen me greatly.

The exorcism blessing makes it the most useful in such situations, this is not something given to other medals that I know of.
