How so? Most of the people I know had to send their kids to private schools because the CA schools where in bad shape under Republican governors. I really don’t know much past that.

Nothing like now, where Christians have to send their kids to private schools to protect them from the left’s indoctrination agenda.

And California schools under Brown are still among the nation’s worst. Classroom overcrowding is among the very worst.
The left’s “fix” of throwing more tax dollars at schools is a fail.
The California teachers’ unions are among the most powerful in the country. Their officials, at least, are profiting.

Arnold is a fake conservative. If you want to draw historical comparisons, though, Ronald Reagan was infinitely better.
Jerry Brown took advantage of a loophole to serve two additional, illegitimate terms, That loophole is now closed, though the damage is done and Brown has proceeded with his assault on innocent California school children.

Wasn’t Reagan pro-choice when he was Governor of California? And even when he was POTUS, was he so adamant in his anti-abortion stand? Probably he was influenced by his wife in some issues.

He might have been more influenced by the Evangelicals, who dropped their allegiance to Carter. But I’m just guessing.
