You know, that’s not a bad idea…

I know that is a tough one though surprisingly I rarely get on the forums at home ( or the internet)
It is normally at work - today has been a slow day

Well, maybe this will help some of you feel better.

I’m selling my house and still living in it while doing so. “Ring! Ring! Ring!” “We’d like to come over in 15 mins to show your house. Is that okay?”

Ha! Like I’m going to say no! Consequently, I’m in a continuing vigilance to keep the house in “show condition.” Talk about housework…

Seeing that you live in the cold, frozen North - what about the boots and other Winter gear?

The boots are neatly lined up just beyond the coat rack along with a small shelving unit I use for slippers, flip-flops, etc (I don’t wear outdoor shoes in the house) – this stuff is all in a space that’s right next to the basement door, and not in any way in the flow of traffic (I live alone, so we’re not talking tons of stuff here. ).

I don’t think I have any other winter gear – unless you mean things like the roof rake and bucket of ice-melt – those are in the garage.

Done! This thread has actually been inspiring me today. Since I started reading, I’ve remembered to start the roast for dinner, put the loaves of bread into the oven, check the cleanliness of my bathroom and make my bed! Who says surfing the net isn’t good for anything?

I’m one of those strange people who LOVES housework!
I was so resentful when I worked outside the home that I could barely get anything done.
Now I’m home all day and look forward to every task .
There is no chore that I don’t love!
(Maybe because my Mom hated housework and it showed!)

Hey, thats a great idea but I’m afraid that I’ll end up with a bunch of boxes in every room.

Once everything is packed into boxes, move to a bigger house!

Lillith - the only thing that REALLY inspires me to clean really good is to invite people over to my house.

Otherwise, I light candles…smell the nice scents…that gets me motivated.
