Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God ?
Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins ?
Do you believe that Jesus Christ was buried and on the 3rd day God raised him from the dead and ascended into heaven for your justification ?
Do you believe that Jesus Christ accomplished these 3 things according to the record given to us in the scriptures ?

If you believe these 4 things you have eternal life and no man, angel or Satan can take it from you.

This is the simple Gospel that God wants us to believe.

Its a free gift, you cannot do one little iota to reconcile yourself to a holy God.

The moment you think you have contributed in any way to your own salvation, you have just thrown down a pile of dirty rags in front of God.

If you believe these 4 things then God no longer sees you, he sees Christ, and he sees his perfect righteousness in you by your faith.

Belief = agreeing with God
Agreeing with God = repentance
Belief = repentance

God will give you a measure of faith because you believe his promise to save you from his wrath and your sin by believing these 4 things.

Salvation is free ! Will you receive it or continue to look for your own righteousness.

We are saved by God our father who is in heaven.

That is the ultimate meaning of the Our Father prayer, to be delivered from evil, by a move of God…

baptism - mark 16:15-16 NIV Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

dealing with known unconfessed & unforgiven sin
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed F13 unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. " (2 Cor. 5:18-20). KJV

How are we saved, is a question of predestination, as it is only by Gods grace that we are saved. Now predestination is real and double predestination is fiction and not to be believed. Believing in double predestination means we arne’t looking deep enough into the scripture.

Predestination and Double Predestination.

Predestination is biblical, double predestinatin is not.

The idea about double predestination is a human made doctrine to rationally explain why people who are not predestinated go to hell.

This is easily explained however, and is in harmony with the rest of the bible.

As Mankind was born into sin through original sin, we are all born spiritualy dead. To be spiritually dead is to be under the Wrath of God. So all of mankind is under the wrath of God until the time they have been given a new resurected soul.

When mankind rebelled against God, they came under the fury of God’s wrath. They came under the hatred of God. God says in Hebews Chapter 1 verse 9, that He hates sin. He hates the sinner(Romans 9:13). God says in Psalm 11:5**The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Sin is anarchy; sin is rebellion against God. We all deserve the hatred of God, but God says in John 3:16**For God so loved [For God in this way loved] the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Gods wonderful love is seen in the fact that He saves some people(Predestined). His love is seen in the fact that He has provided for the salvation of those He chose to save from before the foundation of the earth(Predestined)

We read in Deut 22:26-28** Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day; And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Put this passage in the setting of Romans 3:10-12**As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is nont that doeth good, no, not one.

This is God’s statement concerning the whole human race. god comes to the rebellious human race, none of whom will seek Him, none will do any righteousness, and He says if you will obey me, it will go well with you, and you will have my blessing, and if you disobey, you are under the curse of God. What is man going to do? Well, every man is under the curse of God,

which is why we read in Ephesians 2:2-5**Wherin in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loves us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved.)

The only reason that anyone begins to do the will of God and begins to respond to the Gospel is because God is drawing him. We read in Philippians 2:13**For it is god which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

If we begin to cry to God or call upon His name, that is not the means through which we are saved; it is simply the evidence that god is drawing us. The work of salvation is totally independent of our cry to God. We are saved by grace through faith but whose faith? My faith? No. My faith is a work that I do, and we ar not saved by works.

We read in Ephesian 2:8-9**For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves [that is, not of your faith]: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Very clearly this shows that all of Mankind is born into sin, and that sin is to be under the wrath of God, and as this is the case we all, every single human being, all of Mankind, is destined for spiritual death, total destruction, and being seperated from God. It is God’s mercy that before the foundations He did all the work of salvation and those who are chosen there sins have been paid for and they are the elect.

So it is not an issue of double predestination. God wills nobody to hell, it is just that we are already under the wrath of God and already deserve to be in hell and it is Gods mercy that he spared a remnant,. That remainder of mankind, really has no desire for God, and no clue about their fate. This is also Gods mercy, for the unsaved He gave mankind the gift of life and this earth, which is a blessing for them as man loves the world. For those who are predestined for salvation God will draw then by scripture, as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

for all of us here, learning and interested in God, this is a good indication that God is working in us, we have a desire to learn and love, however the majority of the world could care less about the message of the gospel and could care less about giving up there lives for God as they have made a pretty nice life for themselves. This is not mean of God, these people have no desire for salvation anyway, they may think they do, they may want to live forever, however they decide to follow their own plan for salvation, there own idea of immortallity, and thus they are following a different Gospel and a different God. God says obey me and it will go well with you, and disobey and you are under my wrath. Natural man was never predestinated, and they have no clue and could care less. The spiritual man will seek after those things which are called good and righteousness, namly the word of God. That is our desire, this is a good indicator we are predestined for salvation…

God says in John 6:44** No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is not talking about a precondition for salvation. We read in Philippians 2:13** For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It might not seem right to us in our heart because we are all part of the sin problem. By nature, we are all under the wrath of God. We are not able to understand the perfect justice of God. We must remember that no one will go to hell because God viciously wants people to go to hell. People are under the wrath and will go to hell because they are in rebellion against God. God did not create man to destroy him in hell; God created man in His image, to love and obey Him, and to have the highest good from Him.

God warned mankind, beginning with our first parents Adam and Eve, that in the day mankind rebelled, that is, if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would surley die. In the face of this warning, and the fact that mankind was created perfect, and the fact that God was perfectly loving toward them, they rebelled. Therefore, the perfect justice and the perfect righteousness of God came into play, and God had no alternative but to send mankind to hell. By rights the whole human race ought to end up in hell.

Romans 3:10-12** As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one; there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. they are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

so as you can see, we must change our thinking, because our will or desire or love has nothing to do with being a precondition for salvation. For as you see, it is only by the grace of God, that we are all here in the first place seeking Him. He put it in us to seek Him.

The bible says in Matthew 22:24** For many are called, but few are chosen. So what happened to all these people who were called but not chosen? The gospel call is to go out to the whole world, God says in Mark 16:15** And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

God does not say that we are to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to the elect of God, that is, those whome He has chosen. We have no idea who the elect are. We are to bring the Gospel to as many people as we are able to reach. We are to bring the Gospel as intensively and as extensively as possible. As the Gospel goes out, it is the Gospel call to the whole human race, god is commanding all people to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Each on is commanded to believe on Him.

No one will respond to that command because everyone is spiritually dead in their sins. But, here and there, someone does respond. We here about this one or that one who has become saved. What happned to them? what happened is that god had chosen them to salvation, and at some point in their life, and they became saved.

I hope this cleared up some confusion. To summarize, double predestination is not biblical, it is not in the bible it is not even hinted at and it is man made doctrine to explain the unfairness of some being saved and some not being saved. And that is another indicator this is man made, man needs to rationally explain God in terms of fairness and logic, though our puny minds are not capable of explaining God. God gave us predestination to study and consider, somebody else created double predestination because they thought it was unfair. Is God unfair? Is God making this up as He goes? Does God know what He is doing? So we accept predestination and try to understand it in Gods words and terms, not ours, when that happens we get doctrine like double predestination which only serves to move people further from the biblical truth.

Can you tell me if it is really free? And what exactly are you referring to when you state that ‘will you recieve it…’
Well like any gift that you give someone, they can refuse it or receive it. That is the same with God we can refuse his gift by not believing what he says, and we receive his gift by believing.

Romans 5

16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Ephesians 2

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 6

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

All you have done here is lift out one verse and interpret it by itself, you need to read the entire word of God and interpret the scriptures the way God wrote them and you wont come into this error. By taking your meaning here you completely contradict many other passages of scripture. The only baptism that is required for salvation is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is the only interpretation you can take that does not contradict any other scripture.

Water baptism is a sign of salvation and it is an act of discipleship not faith unto salvation. Your saying the same thing as a woman wearing a wedding ring makes her married. The ring is a sign of marriage. And its an act of love. The same goes for water baptism.

** Some things we miss in the Bible that says what you must “do” to be saved**.

1. Ask for God’s help: Rom. 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
**
2. Believe in Jesus:** Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” [Paul & Silas] replied, “Believe in Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.”
**
3. Confess Jesus as your Lord:** Rom. 10:9 If you confess with mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
**
4. Repent of your sins:** 2 Cor 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation.
**
5. Be baptized:** Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ that your sins may be forgiven. Mk. 16:16 (Jesus said) Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.
**
6. Forgive those who sin against you:** Matt. 6:14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
**
7. Love God & love neighbor:** Luke 10:25-28 An expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the law?” Jesus asked, “How do you read it?” He answered: “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart’; and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied, “Do this and you will live.”
**
8. Keep the Ten Commandments: Mt. 19:17 [Jesus said], “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
**
9. Receive Holy Communion:
John 6:51-58 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.”
**
10. Pursue holiness:** Heb. 12:14 Make every effort to…be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. James 1:21 Get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Rom. 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
**
11. Do God’s will:** p Matt. 7:21 [Jesus said], “Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father which is in heaven.” 1 John 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. Matt. 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.
**
12. Obey Christ:** Heb. 5:9 [Jesus is] the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Acts 3:23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be complete cut off.
**
13. Do good works:** Rom. 2:6-7 [On the day of judgment] God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?…Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action is dead…You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. (also, Matt. 25:31-46)
**
14. Share in Christ’s suffering:** Rom. 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
**
15. Remain steadfast in the faith:** Matt. 10:22 All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. Rev. 2:10 Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
**
16. Die in a state of grace:** Heb. 6:4-6 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away,* to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again ad subjecting him to public disgrace. Note: To fall away, in the Greek language of the New Testament, expresses the idea of irrevocably turning one’s back on the gospel.
