That was perfect timing
Yep, I’ve about dislocated my shoulder patting myself on the back for making that decision 😃 There’s a big difference between a 32" TV and a 58" TV, especially when one’s recliner is half-way across the LR, and one’s eyes are over 70 years old.

adult coloring books
😮

( 😃 )

D
I couldn’t think of another way to phrase it, but technically, that’s what they’re called, as opposed to coloring books for children. 😁 😉

How do you bounce a football? :football:Or is this somewhere other than the United States?⚽

Canadians call real football soccer, too, even in French. (I went there). And you can bounce an American or Canadian football, and an Australian football, I think you HAVE to.

I’ll be planting things, fixing this dryer, and fixing cars.
I suspect Home Depot etal will remain quite busy during this crisis. So many people looking for something to do around their house/apartment.

I think we’ll all be OK, so long as the internet holds up 😉

I go to work, home, with an occasional visit to the store for supplies. I did go for a walk around a lake yesterday, it was very busy but not over crowded. People still need some exercise and sun for their health. Not too many were wearing masks, just a few Asians.

I’m toying with making a good DIY mask that doesn’t make me look like I’m a robber. I’ve also promised to sort through my hoarding piles, and get organized.

My son and I were joking about making masks with words on them:

No, I am not infected.

Get away from me!

Or, goofy ones with silly faces on them. Big smiling teeth, or full face beards.

First few days out of work didnt know what to do.
Then made a schedule, 9 am watch mass on television, then a good aerobic workout for at least 1/2 hour (Charlene Prickett has low impact good cardio work outs on You Tube for those of us who are not 30 and not athletes)
Then its dogs out either for a walk or play outside in the yard, then house projects and general clean up. Afternoon is free to watch a movie, or show online.
Stay connected by phone or text or emails with family and friends every day.
Ps Music has a huge effect on your mood. There are alot of great youtube classical music offerings that are peaceful…also EWTN has you tube videos on the rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy etc. Keeping busy, active, and staying connected is working!

We’ve been praying the chaplet of Divine Mercy as a family every day at 3. I jumped on the window painting bandwagon and look forward to changing the messages. (Kids faces pixelated for anonymity)(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

I’m having trouble with thinking of home improvement, craft or yard ideas that I don’t have the materials for and then talking myself out of going out to procure them. They are not essential but the stores are still open for now here so the temptation is strong. Now would be a really good time to try to grow some grass in my terrible yard, but one should behave responsibly or this is all for nothing. So despite still having the hypothetical freedom to go somewhere, I only go buy some groceries without the family once a week.

Go get the grass seed and get going on the grass. It’s the perfect time, and you can be in and out of Lowe’s in minutes. And you certainly will have something to do. Literally, watch the grass grow. 😂

I believe you and I are in the same state, and home improvement stores are listed as essential, so go ahead and get what you need, and get started!

And, you get well, too, CajunJoy. Don’t worry about those household chores. You take care of you and your loved ones – and don’t hesitate to ask them to help you.
