I’m the fifth of seven. What a great experience it was to live in a big, loving family!

I am one of two, but my sister is 10 years younger, so I grew up an only child for the most part. I plan on giving my children (only 2 so far) lots of siblings!

I’m the middle child of three.

My mom wasn’t able to have more children.
She was involved in a motorcycle accident after my oldest brother (her first child) was born. The doctors said she’d never have anymore children.

Ten years later, I was adopted into the family. So there’s a 10 year gap between me and my big brother. My parents were going to adopt another child when I was almost three.

God had other plans and blessed them with a pregnancy… that the doctors said wasn’t possible. 😉
My younger brother was their last child.

I’m the fourth child out of five. DH is third child out of four. I love large families! Sadly I was only blessed with one child and she is awesome. There is a family at my church that has seven children. I find my eyes drawn to them as they are such a beautiful family! It’s not so common to see large families these days is it?😦

Just 2 kids in my family, me and my sis. Love her to death though. One day I hope to have a larger family 🙂

I’m #4 of 6. I have one sister (she’s the oldest and knows the most still to this day), three brothers, me (girl), younger brother.

I can still remember when I was three and my younger brother was born. I had wanted a girl so badly. I just knew my father was going to call from the hospital and say it was so. If he would have a been a girl our family could have been just like the brady bunch (well, the 3 girls, 3 boys part). I’ll never forget sitting on the kitchen table kicking my feet and crying when the call came that it was a boy. :crying: I felt alone in a sea of boys. My sister was almost 10 years my elder.

It’s all so wonderful now to have get-togethers. Lots of cousins!

I am the second child of five children (3 girls and 2 boys) My mom was the eldest of seven girls and my father was an only child. Amazing how the only child families end up having many grandchildren!

I’m the baby of 7; 4girls, 3 boys. My mom was from 5, my dad from 7 (5boys, 2girls)

I am the eldest of 4, loved it and still lovin’ it. I also grew up with all of my cousins in the same town, just about as close as siblings. Each family had from 2-5 children. There were 7 families in all. (6 on mom’s side, one on dads) Lotsa cousins!

I’m the youngest out of three children. I have two older brothers.

My mom had nine children, and my hubby’s mom had 8. When we have a gathering, it gets a little hectic.

Wow! Do you all live near one another? I can only imagine what holidays are like. Such fun! :yup: Your parents’ must have had huge dining room tables!

I am the oldest of 7. My youngest sister is 22 years younger then myself. She grew up playing and going to school with my children and now her children are the same age as my grandchildren. (I’m a year older then her mother-in-law too)She and I have a very close relationship despite the 22 year age gap. Even more unusual I was my future brother-in-law’s CCD teacher long before he dated both my daughter and sister.

My grandparents on my mom’s side had 11 kids, and my dad’s parent’s had 4. All but two of these children on both sides have at least 2 kids (one of my aunts has 6). I myself am the oldest of five kids (and I’m only 17!). Kind of confusing, huh? Well, my family is pretty big and on the holidays my grandparent’s house is packed full of kids. Good fun… 🙂

I’m the second born of 7 children. The last two, my father had in his second marriage. Of the five of us…we had 2 boys and three girls. Then, with my father’s second marriage, I have another younger sister and another younger brother.

I’m one of three kids of the same parents.

Dad is one of three kids of the same parents.

Mom is one of nine kids of the same parents.

Of the total of 15 people listed above, only I, maybe my brother still, and Mom are Catholic. My sister fell away from the Church and Christianity altogether a couple of years after she was confirmed when she started playing with a oija board. For the last more than 30 years has been a very intense self-proclaimed and practicing pagan. Please pray for her!

And for my Mom and Dad who both may have made it through Purgatory by now?

Thanks!

I’m the oldest of three.

My DH is the youngest of 9 (one brother died at 5 and twin brothers were stillborn).

We have 6 children (2 were lost through miscarriage).

We have 2 grandchildren (the second will be born in 6 weeks).

Oldest of 5 and the only boy…“You’re the oldest, you should have known better!” even if I wasn’t around at the time!

Out of the 5 of us though, only 5 children combined and only two practicing Catholics. 😦

I am the youngest of 10 children.
5 boys
5 girls
two sets of fraternal twins in a row (both boy & girl)
oldest 58
youngest 37

There is an 8 year difference between me and the next to last in line, one set of twins.

My husband is #6 of 7.
