How can people say homosexuality doesn't hurt anyone

Lou, we just went over the definition for HOMOSEXUALITY and it included sexual behavior.
I know we went over the definition of homosexuality. I know it includes sexual behaviour, and the point I am trying to make it that homosexuality is not just about sex. It’s also about attraction.

Lou

-What are these others?
-Still seeing a lot of “I/me” statements from someone with supposedly no self-esteem.
Do you want me to talk in the third person??? 🙂

BTW, St. Paul used “I” and he was among the most humble disciples.

I do believe you need to change your understanding of “self esteem”.

Lou, your argument isn’t making any sense. You’re just repeating yourself at this point.

“I/me” statements refer to statements made out of pride in which the speaker takes the central role/active actor. You’re whole “God saved me” comment is really a “I let God save me because I’m such a nice person” comment.

I said physically hurt people. Rau, you didn’t answer my question. Would you like to?
I claimed no physical hurt, just hurt.

Do you understand “analogy”?

I am not gay. Homosexual sexual relations are sinful. I hope that answers your question.

I find myself having to repeat myself because you (seemingly) don’t understand what I am saying.

My argument is:

Homosexuality does not cause disease.
Heterosexuality does not cause disease.
Some homosexual acts can lead to disease.
Some heterosexual acts can lead to disease.

So what are the two things that don’t change?
  1. Sexual orientation does not cause disease.
  2. Sexual acts can cause disease.
Lou

That has been my point from the very first post. Thanks for finally agreeing with me Lou.
And since some Catholics engage in homosexual sex thank you for agreeing with me that being Catholic causes harm.

How do they not cause harm? I’m waiting. You’re going to tell us how disease benefits society in some way?
While you wait will you at least try to refute my comment about being Catholic causes harm?

I do not agree with you as that hasn’t been your point from your very first post.

In your OP you said and I quote:
How can people say homosexuality doesn’t hurt anyone, when it does damage to society by spreading disease?
If you continued to read my post, I also stated that heterosexual acts can cause disease, therefore sexual acts, not sexual orientation, can cause disease. Please read my post again before you quote out of context.

You’d have to explain how it causes harm first. You haven’t made an argument. There is nothing about Catholic behavior that causes harm. You repeating yourself doesn’t make it so. I have made my argument and backed it up with statistics. Homosexual behavior causes harm.

Are you a gay supporter?

Does sex outside of marriage cause harm? You’ve made such a claim
Does homosexuality cause harm? Yep, you’ve made that claim too
Are some Catholics homosexuals? Yep
Do some Catholics have sex outside of marriage? Yep
Do you therefore have to agree with your own logic used in your OP that being Catholic causes harm since some Catholics are homosexuals and some Catholics have sex outside of marriage? Yep

The only way you can refute this is to refute the same logic you used to come up with your erroneous statement in the OP.

By the way, are you a Catholic supporter? I’m only asking because you apparently think a person being a supporter of something somehow affects their creditability.

.
What part of the Catholic behavior causes harm?
